    Pros +

    • Its clean, smells good, has a nice restaurant inside
    • The staff was great and pleasant each time I interacted with them. The hotel was clean and had a relaxing environment.
    • Everything! Very clean, great location, staff was great etc...

    Cons -

    • Manger was rude. Build was old. Over priced. No pool no suitable for children. Would like my money back. Even customer service through booking could not help with any issues. Wanted to cancel room but was forced to stay and or pay.
    • If you book a room for 4 with breakfast, only two will receive breakfast - $27 vouchers. Not mentioned anywhere on booking! Sometimes there is a buffet breakfast, sometimes not. And if you have to order breakfast off the menu (which takes much longer - not ideal if you have to go to work) because there is no buffet, an omelet+ cappuccino cost you more than the voucher and you have to do the stupid ask for bill, get bill, credit card, sign for tip game.
    • The location was kind of far from a lot of activities. We were going back and forth with whether or not to stay in Birmingham just to be closer to more stores and activities. While the location was not the best, the accommodations were very comfortable and we would stay here again!

Staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, especially as i was travelling alone. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with superb Motown music playing whilst I ate.

The staff were incredibly kind and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Everything seemed new and modern. We enjoyed Toasted Oak as well (great drinks with a fun vibe)

This hotel is close to the express way and lots of shopping.

The sign for the Hotel should be higher so that you can see it like GORMANS and if you've never been in that area, the entrance to the hotel is tricky but we found it. Also, the cost is a little pricey for what you get.

The front desk staff were very friendly, and nice.

Let’s see. Nobody to help with my bags, just moved out of my house, temporarily at the hotel for a few days. I’m hurting from moving, and I have to struggle with my own bags up to my room which couldn’t have been further if they tried. Right outside my second floor window, was a gigantic A/C fan. It woke me up every time it kicked on! Except in my room. While it was 87 degrees outside and extremely humid, the air in my room stopped working. Had to get a maintenance man up to get it back on, which he did do, and was polite. He also said, happens all the time, these units are at least 30 yrs old! There. Was no fan in the bathroom. There is no microwaves in the rooms! If you want to heat up anything, you have to get dressed go to the lobby, where there is a microwave. Wait, it gets better. They actually use 1 ply toilet paper!! Seriously!!! They say they have room service, but don’t count on it, I was told several different times there was nobody available to bring anything to my room. This hotel used to be something 25 yrs ago. Now, I will never stay there again, and I would recommend nobody else wastes their time, effort, and money at this hotel. It’s not even sub par, it’s worse.

I love the modern take in the room. The room was also much larger than most hotel rooms. The couch gave it a homier feeling. It is always nice when you have seating options in the room. I also really loved all the seating options throughout the hotel.

The bed was not very comfortable. Quite hard and stiff. There was also some black mold in the bottom of the shower.

Breakfast was very ordinary most dishes were greasy

The AC in the room was very loud and uncomfortable and a light from behind the TV possibly from the router kept flashing all nightThe nights were not restful

I liked the staff and the atmosphere. The hotel was beautiful.

I did not like my bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and the blanket was not long enough. The pillows were flat. When I went to take a bath I could not find a stopper and no one at the front desk could assist me.

Gracious and friendly. Loved the bar area. Attended the Ascension Friends Ball at Novi Showplace and the lady bartender even took a photo of me in my gown while I was waiting for the limo to pick me up.

    Everything was perfect

Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. Quiet. Nice ambiance throughout hotel.

Get paper menus in the restaurant. Nobody who is old enough to pay your room rates likes QR codes. Food in restaurant was mediocre. Salad was not fresh.

The location is good, and it’s a good hotel for the area.

it’s expensive give the level of hotel this is. but it’s the best for the area. Beware, if you get a connected room with a door locking out the other room you will hear everything next door! I wasn’t the only one who complained about this. For the money I should not feel like my neighbor is in my room.

it’s a nice hotel close the the mall & overall it was ok. although the rooms in Sheraton were better, this hotel was better overall & cleanest& breakfast here was better.

    rooms could be nicer
