The property is very convenient to Hillsdale College.

The room not particularly clean. There was a stain on the sheets and the wall with the curtains and window had quite a few bugs crawling around on it. The shower was so stained and in disrepair that we opted not to use it at all. There was only a sliver of a roll of toilet paper when we arrived with no back up so I had to request more. The sink had no drain stopper and nothing felt clean enough to put anything down on. On top of that someone had clearly been vaping in the room before us and the odor was incredibly unpleasant. We left the door and windows open when we arrived despite very cold temperatures to air the place out, but there was only so much we could do and came home with our clothes smelling of the room.

Hotel was very dirty. The amount of bugs was concerning. On top of which you can hear every little thing from surrounding occupied rooms.Icing on the cake was the dead rodent in the parking lot

Location is near the baw beese lake and near other destinations

The TV did not work, the smoke detectors were disconnected and very old, the room was not clean, I found a moldy sock in the garbage, the baseboard heaters were covered in dirt, towels were stained, and there was a mouse hanging on the wall just outside of the door. I stayed here several years ago and did not have these issues. Not sure if it's under different management or what but this was different. Obviously you get what you pay for... It's a cheap room, bed was ok, water gets hot and the shower was fine. This has hard well water. (Sulfur water)... Just so you know. Yes the water smells funny, it's safe, for those who aren't familiar with it I think it is something you should know.

The room was non-smoking but when you opened the door it smelled very strongly of smoke. There were no operating smoke detectors. There were no batteries in any of them, and not even the outer cover! The detectors, themselves, were rusty. No remote for TV. The toilet was dirty. My daughters wouldn't even shower in the tub, it looked grimy. The water stank. There was no drain plug in the sink. The bathroom walls, especially, needed a good washing. The baseboard heaters looked like they were falling apart and were all rusty. Some of the electrical outlet covers were broken. It was scary to plug our chargers in. The whole place was very old and worn out looking. There was an air gap in the door jam. It must let in a lot of cold air in the winter.
