Rodeway Inn Grandville - Grand Rapids

I’m booked a king size room with an in room, Jacuzzi or whirlpool. When I checked in, I was given a basic king room. Before sending my stuff down, I went back to the front desk and was asked to pay an up charge to get the room that I originally booked

The whirlpool in our room was a nice way to recuperate after such a long week. The attention to detail given by housekeeping with the nicely folded towels and cleanliness. Very comfy bed, and it was quiet in the halls. AC unit was new and quiet also. A+

Trivial, but the fridge was a bit small. There was only one full size towel at the whirlpool tub (room in general could use two more FULL size towels)

Next to highway and restaurant

No hot water to hot tub in room and need sheets and pillow cases wasn't not clean smelled like a homeless person.

It's very clean and the staff is great.

No breakfast. No hot tub. The beds are ok not comfortable.

Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and updated. No mold, bugs, or strange odor. Good water pressure and temperature in the shower. The indoor courtyard design feels nostalgically fancy.

I'll preface this by saying this is the nicest rodeway inn I've ever stayed at. However, I like to sleep with a fan on, and the AC didn't have an option for continuous fan. Also, there's no elevator so we had to carry bicycles and luggage upstairs.

Location was great for me

Front desk clerk was rude to me on multiple occasions and the air conditioner unit was full of mold. I left before my stay was up, forfeiting a paid night just to get out of there. It was my 3rd stay and did not have these issues in the past.

Discontinued continental breakfast. Not enough coffee, I lived there 4 months. Pool was NEVER cleaned.

Location was great.

Wi-Fi service was not good. Clean service was poor.

Friendly staff

Breakfast: No OJ. Very limited selection. Bagel was old.

Older manager was a bit rude, the older cleaning lady never acted friendly/smiled towards/at me. We were also told by her to not use the trash can by the laundry -- which we were using to place our trash in and make it easier for the cleaning staff.

nice hotel, nice pool, hard working staff, great location

location, staff is friendly, recently remodeled, the pool and hot tub are nice too!

only "complaint" is that the room has a radiator against the wall and the cover was kind of knocked off when we first got there. Also one of the walls has some damage from prior guests but other than that the hotel is really nice value for the price!

The pool and hot tub area are amazing!

There was no elevator and dragging our luggage up to the second floor was tough.

Location was great for us. Hotel has been updated nicely.

Our only complaint and problem was the fan noise of the wall heating unit. The blower was excessively loud. On our second night we went without heat in hopes of sleeping. Unit did not allow for simply leaving the fan on so that on-off was not disturbing.

It was a great experience

The breakfast was a little lacking but OK. It closed at 9:30 on the weekend and 9:00 during the week. We were on vacation and didn't necessarily want to get going before 9:00

Nice pool area. I liked the the fan/air unit in the room was adjustable.

Bathroom was dirty. Tub had hair in it. Mirror had splash marks. Shower sprayer did not work right.

The hotel had a pool and game room

Check in took a while to find a worker

It worked out great for the location, staff and the jacuzzi and pool.

Each morning I would have a small convo with the manager that runs first shif and I tell you what, what a great way to start my day! She went above and beyond if you ask me. 5 stars for her

The one and only thing that I do not like about this hotel is the spiders they have outside. They do well with spraying on the inside I have not seen any spiders on the inside. outside is pretty scary at night. It really does look like a haunted house
