Residence Inn by Marriott Silver Spring

The space was large enough and had a great work station/kitchen. AC/Heating worked well. Location was great, price was fair, breakfast was sufficient, the bed sheets & towels were clean. Water pressure and heat were fine. Room was relatively quiet.

The room did not feel as clean/fresh as expected. The bathroom counters & tub smelled like a slightly sour rag/hint of smoke. The room didn't seem dusty, but carpet appeared older & my allergies were difficult to manage while in the room. TV was grainy.

HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND SAFE, BREAKFAST WAS OK, POOL WAS NICE, GYM AND BASKETBALL COURT WAS VERY NICE.

The room was clean, spacious and self contained.

Breakfast was not great. Limited options. I don't like breakfast sandwiches.

Front desk staff great. Room great. Breakfast was very good.

Pool was green slime pond. I guess not kept up this summer and not open, but please put a cover on it or something. Green slime mold on it to look out over.

Furniture extremely uncomfortable! Sofa and bed was as hard as a rock. Very disappointing stay. No hotel amenities offered. Gym, restaurant, poll, and roof were all closed. This is false advertising.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable room

The hotel is too far from the Metro. I needed to get into DC, and in the morning, the drive from the hotel to the train would have been 30 minutes. I decided to drive into the city instead, which took 60+ minutes. Too much of a hassle either way.

This is my 2nd stay. The location is perfect for a visit to DC and Maryland. It is just outside of the hustle and bustle. Several restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff is excellent and the rooms are clean and well kept.

The continental breakfast was a little lacking but good.

Thin walls. Heard everything going on upstairs, outside. Was not a great experience. The curtains were dirty. Could barely sleep.

The pool was only open from 10-8. Was told MD required lifeguards and that was the reason for the short hours. One of the reasons we picked the hotel was having a pool.

Clean, quiet, and nice staff

There was a slight stench in my room. Also, some of the towels were a bit dirty that they replaced when my room was serviced.

Nice suite with kitchenette.

There was a weird stale smell when we entered the room. And didn't really like the locker room type shower.

Lots of amenities, comfy bed.

The size of the hotel, includes a small kitchen with everything you would need. The breakfast had lots of choices.

Free breakfast and nice large room with a microwave and refrigerator.

New and very clean

The hot tub should NOT be closed "for the season' when fall temperatures are still in the 70's. Just a ploy to save money. Poor management to antagonize customers for so little reason.

Friendly staff. Nice food served during the week. Quiet location.

Breakfast stopped at 9:30. Staff did not let us know there was one or when it was over. Location was not where I thought it would be.
