This motel is located in Ocean City, Maryland, just a half block from the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel. Cable TV is in all rooms at the Crystal Sands Motel. Each room is also equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. Smoking areas are provided outside of the rooms. The Crystal Sands Motel is completely nonsmoking.There is a beverage vending machine on site. Free parking, at either the properties on site or off site lot, depends on availability. The Jolly Rodger Amusement Park is a 5-minute drive from Crystal Sands Motel. Embers Island Mini Golf is a 10-minute walk away.

Pros +
- Short distance to beach!
- Clean. Good proximity to beach, boardwalk. Clean and relatively cheap.
- Absolutely nothing! Maid service was available but it was clear, little was done. The beds were made and trash emptied but bathroom linens were not changed nor were any table tabletop cleaned. Electrical outlets were limited. AC worked, yeah!
Cons -
- Sheets on pullout were not clean, and the tub drained poorly.
- Parking. Lot too small for number of rooms and very hard to navigate. Second lot for overflow blocks away.
- The web said there was parking and internet service, there was not. I could not find a parking space and was told, "we tell guests they shouldn't leave because parking is bad." The Internet never worked, they did nothing to resolve it.
