Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbia - East Elkridge By IHG

My room smelled heavily of weed, the front desk said they would spray it and did not. They did not let us change rooms or have a discount. Everything else was nice except the smell of the room giving me and my family a headache

Rooms are very dark - dark paint, dark furniture, inadequate lighting. Had to buy a lamp in order to read in bed. No TCM.

THE LOCATION

THE ROOM NEEDS SOME RENOVATION AND THE SMELL, NOT A BAD SMELL BUT STRONGLY ANOYING, STAYS ON YOUR GARMENTS AND STILL SMELLS WHEN I TURN ON MY CPAP MACHINE.

The location was only 15/25 minutes from where all My events were taking place

Worst hotel I've stayed at in yrs..Had leak in btrm that took over 5hrs to get attended to after calling 2x. Ran out of syrup at 8a with mostly prepared breakfast items that requires syrup. Housekeeping knocking on door at 9:37am for checkout.

Wry clean room. Able to have 5 of us in the room due to the sofa bed instead of having to bet 2 rooms.

Its a very clean and modern hotel. It was very neat and tidy. The room was very nice, it too was very modern. I was shocked at the fact that they supplied you with Dove, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and lotion.

I would have liked the hours for breakfast to be longer.

There wasn't body wash and the lady at the front desk,night shift wasn't very friendly, she only gave us one bar of soup for three people, we requested an additional towel and she said she didn't have more, when we complaint,she didn't care.

Hotel is convenient to restaurants and main roads Enjoyed our stay. Second time staying here.

Getting into the hotel parking lot was a little confusing.

Manager was kind when we requested a change of room due to a foul-smelling odor inside.

Room was missing a TV and a nightstand.

I liked how the room was large and spacious

What I didnt like about my stay was that children were running back and forth in the room above me. While I was trying to sleep I woke up at least twice from them running from one in of the room to the other side.

Good location, excellent housekeeping service, excellent hot breakfast.

When we entered our room, we noticed a trail of ants in and around the air conditioning unit. Then we saw several ants on the desk. When I report it, the front desk person arranged for someone to exterminate which reduced the ant population.

Staff very polite! Room great.

Directions to get into the hotel was vague. Could see the sign on top of the building but had hard time getting to the hotel. Sign by the road was not lit!

The room was clean, the breakfast was ok,and lots of parking. The morning staff.

The front desk clerk was a bit rude, there was a TV missing from the living area. There was no bedding for the sofa bed, he told my wife she had to come downstairs and get it.

The suite was wonderful and roomy. Staff friendly and helpful.

The microwave didn¿t work great. And tv didn¿t work but it wasn¿t a huge deal. Neither of these would deter us from staying. Main thing we wanted was a spacious room and a pool

Convenient to the event we were attending. Check-in was super easy. Staff was courteous. Lobby was open and well lit.

Room was unclean. Hairs all over the floor. Bathroom floor was sticky. Microwave, while nice to have it, was filthy. Bathroom mirror looked liked it was wiped clean with the same towel used to wipe the toilet.

Good breakfast food & good coffee. Room was very roomy & comfortable.
