Hampton Inn Cumberland, MD

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was at a great location for us. We were there for a high school reunion and the events were close by. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I am picky about pillows.

The following is a feature in every Hampton Inn I've visited this year, so it isn't a negative for this particular hotel. Hate the barn door bathroom/closet door. It had a space of at least 6 inches (probably more), so no privacy.

Clean. Great bed. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast was good. Better than so many we had during our 2 week journey thru the east coast.

Would have liked potatoes at breakfast as a vegetarian it would have been nice.

The location is awesome , quiet on that hillside, very clean , continental breakfast , more than enough food, and the people at the desk very polite

The breakfast was the bare minimum...hardly kept it full, even the coffee kept running out.

People were very courteous and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The location above my room may have been maintenance because it sounded like they were rearranging furniture, walking in clogs, and throwing things until 10pm.

Unexpected visit to the hospital across the street lead to a two night stay at this hotel. The place was spotless, the amenities were exactly what I needed and the staff was very friendly. I was surprised to find such a gem in the middle of nowhere.

Super clean. Friendly staff. Short drive to downtown. Gorgeous views of the mountains. Nice pool. Water pressure in the shower could be better.

We ended up switching hotels and came to this one. Our first hotel was a dump to say the least. We were happy the minute we walked in the front door. The hotel was so clean and smelled good as well. The ladies at the front desk were so nice a friendly.

the front desk was amazing!! We had no gps coming from Blackwater Falls where we had visited for the 1st time. We had no idea to get to the hotel from WV, Hotel employee was so helpful! She got directions for us and texted them to us!! She’s AWESOM

It was mostly empty. appeared clean.

despite the hotel being empty ,a room with people above me who decided to move furniture around. I understand such things occur as a spring serenade. But this was not the case. I sarcastically appreciate the vacuum cleaner running over my head at 9AM

It was easy to get to and very clean.

The walls seemed thin. I could hear what was going on in the room next to me as well as above me. Also, both nights had wild parties going on at 2-3 a.m.

We've stayed at this hotel before and it's just superb in all aspects.
