Homewood Suites By Hilton Columbia

We stay here often, several times a year, in fact. Staff were wonderful, as always. Check-in and check-out personnel are professional and warm. The bed is always clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and the hallways are always clean. Really appreciate the black-out curtains, ice machine works and the kitchen is well equipped. Location is convenient with great parking and ease of access to markets and eateries. Very safe and accommodating for families.

Unfortunately, just until recently, the quality is not what we were used to from prior stays. The hot water in the shower was not always hot; more like lukewarm. The TV remotes did not always work; you have to take them down to the lobby for fresh batteries. And, unfortunately, the breakfasts were not as before. While the kitchen staff work very hard and clearly knows what they are doing in keeping it clean and refreshed; the food was not hot, hot oatmeal was not always available and the selection was more limited than before. Perhaps budget cuts? But, again, the staff are warm and responsive and tries their best.

Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfasts were wonderful and well thought out. The rooms were clean, comfy and met the spacing need. Rooms as pictured in the photos. Parking was easy with lots of room for wider vehicles. Location is convenient with lots of eateries in the area. And multiple entries into the building with the electronic passcard made it easy to come and go as needed.

We did not know it was a room that faced the pool and would have preferred to be told as such since there was a girls' group celebrating summer with a pool party all weekend. It was loud and I would have paid extra to move if I was told ahead of time that it was a room that faced the pool and there were pool parties expected.

This place was immaculately cleaned. The rooms and common areas were so clean. The room and furniture was comfortable even my kid liked the pull out couch. The staff was so lovely. Every single one of them. They really make that Homewood Suites a very inviting comfortable place.

The items in the kitchen were pretty poor quality and pieces were missing and not usable. It was harder to cook there than I wanted but we made it work as best we could. Not sure a bent sauté pan is worth a complaint though.

The room was clean and spacious. not sure why we had a handicap room, but the bathroom was spacious as well. the bed was very comfortable. there were 3 restaurants directly across the street. there is also a shopping center with additional restaurants near.

what i didn't like is that when i checked in, i told the man at the front desk that when i check out i wanted to pay cash, he said ok. when i went to check out, i was told that they do not accept cash. how does 1 employee not know that. that irritated me and was the only thing that i did not like about my stay.

I liked the location, it was convenient to everywhere I needed to be.

Water leaks in the bathroom, Loud hallway noise at 8am.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, very responsive and accommodating. Easy access from parking lot to room. Stay included Breakfast.

Like most hotels you can hear other guests. Someone was shooting hoops on the basketball court till after midnight.. Refrigerator was missing a shelf ..Freezer was missing an ice bin.

The location of this hotel is great, good access to grocery stores and restaurants, easy access to the freeway, I enjoyed being able to get to wherever I wanted very easily

The facilities are great, staff are not welcoming or friendly at all

The breakfast is always very nice. I like the location, tucked away from noisy traffic.
