- The outside facilities were clean and neat.
- The price was great, such a cute little motel. Nothing over the top but it was so quaint, clean. This was the Taj mahal but the room looked just like the pictures. The bed was comfy. The staff was nice. Just park outside the door and walk right in, no 3 minutes of walking of hotel hallways and having a ride in elevator to get to your room. The room was simple yet adequate. And as a bonus you can drive just one minute down the road to the beach. And no funky smells or heavy cleaner smells used to try to mask and the orders. The room smelled clean or actually no smell, which is good!
Cons -
- A pool was essential since I had my teenage granddaughter with me, but unfortunately it closed at 7pm .. we had planned on going for a swim after dinner and checked out the pool at 7:10pm :(
- On first inspection the rooms appear clean. But after an hour we realized how dirty the floor was. I don’t think they’ve vacuumed or mopped in ages. The method of cleaning appeared to be spraying Fabreeze. We couldn’t breathe after a while. The toilet in our room rocked off the ground. When I checked out a day early and confronted the front desk he gave a half apology. I doubt that anything will improve. I thought there would be more to do right near the motel but there is only an overpriced mini golf.
- I really have no complaints.
