Very convenient. Took Amtrak to South Station. Then took the Red Line 1 stop to Broadway. It is located literally across the street

First time to use "staffless" location. But they sent a security code to get into the location. Room was a bit small, but just what I need. Everything was clean. Restroom down the hall and kitchen upstairs. It was nice and quiet... All and all, excellent!

The location was perfect! Straight across the road from the red subway line and a 30 minute walk to the harbor. The room was really clean and the hotel very quiet. Bathroom also exceptionally clean which was great considering it was a shared bathroom!

Extremely cold and LOUD as a jet turbine AC unit, no way to switch off. No view, blank wall outside window, loud backyard with exhaust chimneys from restaurant, rundown ikea furniture everywhere, 1 towel per guest for 2 nights, lousy support.

Not so expensive, by Boston standards. Clean sheets and room. Great location next to restaurants and the T.

Carpet on the four story staircase needs replacing or cleaning. Room much smaller than the photo suggested. Our room door needed a good heave to close. Loud for us and others on the hall. Otherwise good for the price.

Location was great. Within steps to the T and coffee.

No warm water in showers, extremely tiny rooms, hotel listing made it seem like rooms were bigger and had own bathrooms, no temperature control. The location was great but the rest of the experience was so bad we considered paying for a room elsewhere.

Location was convenient for walking/city transit and affordability.

No on site parking or suggestions for nearby places.

It would have been nice to have extra towels since we used the same ones for our entire stay. Also didn't appreciate our food getting thrown out or stolen even with our names identified on them.

Good location. Next to metro station. A few restaurants nearby.

Tiny room. No extra comforter or blanket. It was kind of cold without heat system at this season. It was quite noisy outside of window.

The location was perfect, and the check-in/check-out instructions were easy and streamlined!

The room was smaller than expected, and the right side of the bed had a downward slope. The bathrooms were generally clean, but the shower had hairs all over it. I would recommend for the cleaning staff to clean the common areas more often.

The owner was concerned about noise and miss behavior of customers and was effective to solve the issue within 24 hours.

The website was not explicit on the fact that you share the bathroom with the all floor. The concept provides a cost effective solution for an excellent location. However if we get a couple of customers who are noisy and intoxicated you want sleep much.

Location, modernness, cleanliness, convenience all excellent. Code for doors simplifies the process. Kitchen well stocked and generally available. Bathrooms were large, clean, efficient. Enough so that access was not a problem. We'd use STRBoston again.

We visited in November. Our room temperature was around 62-63 degrees -- controlled by locked thermostat in hall. Window would not lock, but fixed the next morning. Hair driers did not work -- took two days to fix -- used others on floor above.
