    Pros +

    • Location is fabulous! Room is well appointed, modern, clean and spacious.
    • Location was amazing! So clean and high ceilings in the room. Activities for kids and adults. Observation deck, free laundry. Room separate from living room
    • Location was great. The staff was great. Everything was clean. Had a beautiful observation deck to view the city and a game room for the kids.

    Cons -

    • You could hear the subway on the lower floors.
    • I called after booking the room and requested the Harbor view above the 8th floor and the reservation attendant that would be honored. When we checked in they gave us a 2nd floor room facing the oppposite side of the building and it was a dark room
    • Our room was the first floor next to the breakfast room, and we could here the door slam every time someone went in and out. We could also hear the metro that ran under the hotel.

Amazing!!! Beautiful, historical, great location, fabulous staff!

Our room was the first floor next to the breakfast room, and we could here the door slam every time someone went in and out. We could also hear the metro that ran under the hotel.

The staff was friendly, the concierge  helped us with tours and lots of information, the room was impeccable and had everything we needed, the location is the best, right at the center of town and most of all we loved the observation deck.

No, we really enjoyed our stay.

The location was amazing, very central to everything. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, accommodating our every need. The room was very clean and well stocked. Both adult daughters commented on how comfortably firm the pull-out queen bed was.

The only negative is if you need ice, you have to traipse all the way up to the 24th floor, the only floor with an ice maker.

Great location & room, staff were friendly & helpful, laundry facility. Observation deck had great views of Boston. Also, as a Customs Officer from Bermuda, it was interesting to read up on the former Customs House & see the displays. 7/11 right there too

Location is perfect. History of the building is fascinating.

The air conditioning system is tricky. Better ask the staff to explain it and put it on auto.

Incredible hotel. Great location, very central to everything we wanted to enjoy while visiting Boston. Fantastic and welcoming staff, eager to answer questions and provide suggestions for our trip. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The observation deck was under renovation during our stay, so we unfortunately missed out on that experience.

    The location and the amenities

I thought I was going to have a harbor view as it’s what I selected. I did not have a harbor view.

    Location, amenities, and ambiance

Unfortunately, they did not have a room that was on a higher floor and better view available for us.

Beautiful building and great location! The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were all super nice.

I wish they had better breakfast options but there are many coffee shops in the area so one does not have to eat breakfast at the hotel.

The location was excellent and the building was fabulous. The staff were lovely and there were plenty of free activities.

The sofa bed was hard and there was not a lot of bedding provided for it, so we had to get extra from Reception. Otherwise the facilities were fine. For anyone with mobility issues, there were sets of stairs within the building when you were out of the lifts.

    10clodaghPosted on: 11-22-2025

Everything. From the moment I called for an early check in to the staff sending up a bday gift when my friends told them why we were there. The cozy lay out, room to building. We’re not in Copley anymore. The trip up to the observation deck. Perfect experience start to finish.
