Best Western Plus Chalmette Hotel

The room space.

My 5yr old and I were locked out of my room from 12am until 3:33am because no one was at the hotel to make a key. They also kept charging my debit card up to $1,180.00 when my room price did not exceed $500.00. The manager said his hands were tied.

Bathroom. The toilet needs to be up graded

Comfortable beds,

Only had 2 days of housekeeping, they only did the restroom, I ran out of toilet paper the front desk clerk would tell me i would have to wait till morning. I went and bought my own. My trip was cut 7 days short and they refused a refund.

The room was clean, friendly staff

I was charged an additional $10.00 for asking for another key, this has never happened before

The hotel was very clean and smelled really good. Everyone was very nice and accommodating

Room wasn¿t clean bad smell all over the place and bugs was found on th bed

Worst stay ever not recommended no one wants to see spiders rolling I got bit I can¿t wait to reach out to the head manager to show them the videos and pictures

Staff was very polite. And the location was not to bad.

There were loud parties on a nightly basis. And men were hanging out in the parking lot drinking all day and night. This is not what guest want to see as they pull in to stay.

Breakfast

Room needs updating at the prices they charge. Key cards do not work at the side door. The deposit is too high for the rooms as well.

Hotel was better than expected. Clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient. Location was safe and well lit.

This hotel needs to improve its breakfast. It was mediocre at best. I know that the staff can only provide items approved by the corporate office, but corporate needs to know that it was a joke compared to other chains. The coffee, however, was excellent

I had to pay an extra 600 dollars for a room that didn¿t appear in the system and I would love if I can talk to someone about it

I liked the location.

My first night stay was awful. The heat did not work and I was not moved to a different room. I was very cold all night. It was very uncomfortable. The hotel fixed the problem on the second day.

The location was good.

There was no free breakfast. They said it was due to a combination of COVID and the hurricane, but other hotels would purchase bars and such (Nutrigrain, for example) to atleast satisfy the breakfast requirement. This hotel just said no.

it was close to the ballpark where the baseball tournament was

upon entering the room it was hot, turned the air down but still hot, there was a pair of underwear someone left in the room that we threw in the garbage, the sink was broken and did not drain

It was close to a lot of things. Also the staff kept it clean

The water had a bad smell

Upon checking in I was notified of a 250.00 deposit that I did nit have therefore was unable to occupy my room that was paid in full and had no where to sleep . I think this amount file a deposit is unheard of and extremely high / outrageous.

The USB recharging outlet was non functional. Not really a big deal. The hotel employee from the front desk tried to swap out but didn't have a replacement so she provided an outlet adapter that did the job. Kudos to her for her effort and resourcefulness.

Everyone from the front desk, to management, to housekeeping is friendly and amazing! The hot breakfast is the best of any hotels I've stayed at.The rooms, pool, and entire hotel are clean and comfortable.Five star in my opinion! Thank you..

The attendent was great. He was very friendly and made it very quick to get us to our room. The room was a good size and we will be staying there again next time we are in town

There was only one washer and one dryer working.
