Best Western Shepherdsville-Louisville South Hotel

It’s was filthy and there were bugs and trash and there was also black mold coming out of the ceiling and paint falling off the ceiling in the bathroom

Did not make up bed. Outdated.

Great location. Simple breakfast options.

My biggest problem was the room AC. It was loud, and when it shut off, it woke me up. While on, it provided a white noise. However, when it shut off, it made a different noise, and then got silent. There wasn't a way of keeping the fan on all the time.

The rooms were clean and staff helpful. When we entered our room, we noticed a smell coming from the shower drain. We called the front desk. They came immediately, said "yes, there's clearly an odor." They gave us another room, no hassle.

It was very clean with closed mattress protectors. The staff were excellent and friendly. The free breakfast was great.

The bathroom seemed very small but the shower/tub was big. The beds weren't very comfortable. They had little to no give or padding to them like sleeping on a camp pad and were small, maybe full size mattresses.

What I liked best was the location and the continental breakfast

I did not enjoy the bed as I would have liked. However, for the overall experience it wasn't completely bad.

The staff was very friendly when we checked in after midnight and then again when we checked out. The breakfast was REALLY good and the staff working in the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful

Friendly staff! clean lobby and rooms

HORRIBLE bed. The mattress felt like a plywood box with a mattes cover on it.

The add said microwave in the room, and there's none, plus the refrigerator has no freezer. Plus very noisy, from the road and people outside.

Clean and everyone was friendly. Very reasonable cost.

The morning staff was extra rude, but the night staff was especially friendly!

The room smelled very musty and was damp. Air conditioning worked poorly and the air blowing in smelled terrible.

We are traveling with a 5th Trailer and hotel has Truck parking we stay the twice every year

What I enjoyed most about the hotel was the friendly staff. They both seemed pleasant and attentive and genuinely eager to assist in any way that they could.

If you have allergies or asthma this is not the place for you. The odorous smell of mold, which seemed to be coming from the very old carpeting and possibly the walls, was overwhelming. We started to cough and sneeze instantly.

Sheets on beds in both rooms were filthy and stained. Second room had blood or red polish on wall and bathroom door. Hallway had bloody footprints outside room. Had to move to a different room. Would have left but already paid for room
