Best Western Plus Owensboro

This hotel was very clean and the amenities were nice.

Not necessarily the hotel itself, but the location of our room was kind of noisy, right by an exit door and supply closets.

The Hotel was very clean and smelled amazing! Staff remembered us from our last stay everyone was super friendly. Breakfast last time was good, did not eat this time as we had other breakfast plans.

They called me once I got in the room and asked me how many dogs I had after I told them I only had one dog.

I appreciated that the pool was heated. The workout facility and the breakfast had plain oatmeal and plain eggs.

The hotel staff refused to give us an extra blanket. There was not an extra in the room. Beds only had a sheet and light weight cover. Would not give extra towels either.

The extra thick mattress, while super comfortable, was too high off the floor. It was uncomfortable to sit on the side of the bed. I am average height, 5'11", but my feet didn't reach the floor.

Front desk was not wearing mask and same staff was serving breakfast. Front desk new man was not wearing a mask, which I confirmed with another staff is actually required by hotel. Lady instructing him not initially wearing a mask properly on arrival.

Even during Covid, they still put forth an excellent breakfast with both hot and oold options. Kudos for that!

Reserved a dog friendly room, got a phone call they saw a dog & were going to charge us when we had already paid the $25 a night pet fee! Hotel micromanaged my owner. Hairs in bathroom (not ours). Ghetto/sketchy patrons-lots of 'cash paying' customers.

I never really thought highly of best western but this hotel reminded me of the Hyatt that I normally would stay in around the country . It’s modern ,clean and punches above its price .

Super clean! We had no idea this hotel was new until we commented on its immaculate condition and cleanliness. That’s when the desk clerk told us it was just finished last Winter. It’s decorated in cool blues and other beautiful earthy tones.

The hotel is new, so everything was very clean and nice. The breakfast bar was well stocked and was also very clean. They had a lot of coffee selections as well.

The only thing that was a little weird was that the toilet flushed really loudly, but that was the only complaint.

The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very clean and the room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Owensboro
