Capital Plaza Hotel

This hotel is in terrible shape. There is a renovation planned in the next year but currently this can only be described as a "dive" hotel.

It was absolutely filthy.

The lobby and parking

Need to level up the breakfast and coffee. The decor is dated in the rooms.

Location of this hotel is great for a quick stop in Frankfort! We came in late and left early, so didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel besides to sleep. The man who checked us in was great, as was the rest of the staff.

The hotel is dated and could used some work.

The staff was the most friendly and helpful staff ever, especially at the front desk. It was during a time when people were having to stay due to the floods and they could have been grumpy but they weren't!

Wished the bar / lounge was still open

Location

The room was noisy due to loud cars outside and other guests in the hotel. (Yelling in hallways, slamming doors late at night and early morning) The pillows were half the size of a normal pillow. The HVAC system was noisy too. We got very little sleep.

Friendly, helpful staff . clean comfortable room . Complimentary breakfast was very good

How close it was to Buffalo Trace Distillery

Very old and out dated, not very clean

So very clean, and the staff was excellent.

A couple things .. the room was clean, but desperately needed more electric outlets. There was no food or drink available, and walking to restaurants or bars was quite a chore at night.

Lobby area was very pretty! Lots of areas to sit and visit/relax. Breakfast was very good; lots of options and plenty of seating!

Parking - but, the parking ramp being built will solve that!

Rooms were dingy and run down. Fitness center was out dated and machines didn?t work properly. Breakfast buffet was not appetizing. Parking was unlit and hard to find.

Location

No room cleaning or service available No parking

Breakfast buffet, staff friendly

Old room ac not working properly no room cleaning during stay. Parking offsite

Location.

This used to be a really nice hotel. While adequate, it sorely needs updating. For the time being, th parking situation is not convenient. Downton Frankfort needs a good hotel and this is a great location and why I stay for now.

A wonderful hotel 1.1 miles from Buffalo Trace in the heart of downtown historic funky Frankfort

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Due to construction we had to park across the street. The shower/bathroom was old and dated.

The location can't be beat for being close to Buffalo Trace distillery.

The rooms are kind of dated and worn. Also, the cartons of milk at the breakfast bar were expired! Makes for a terrible way to start the day taking a swig of expired milk. Yuck.

Easy check in and out, Great Breakfast, super friendly staff

It is a very old Hotel and some of the outlets did not work

Staff was nice and attentive

Air conditioner did not work properly and was loud didn¿t have another room to relocate us too but did bring us a nice fan to help!!!

Nobody bothered us very quite

Dirty towels dirty sheets

front lpbby is nice

tobacco stench, broken vending machines, lack of ice machines on floors, no onsite parking, closed lounge, no restaurant and no mowed area for dogs.
