Rodeway Inn McPherson East

I liked the free continental breakfast and the air conditioner

The room was disgusting. Floor hadn't been vacuumed and my shoes kept sticking to the nasty carpet. I saw a roach on the wall in my room. I was locked out of my room for an hour at 1 o'clock in the morning. The room smelled awful!

The free continental breakfast and the one employee who was very helpful and friendly.

The room was disgusting, I got locked out of my room and no one was at the desk or to answer my call. Other than the one employee I mentioned above the others were not very helpful or friendly.

Heat went out second night. Smoke alarm beeped all night. Desk person was high when I checked in

Good price, better than average breakfast offering.

Entrance and outside of facility looks run down and abandoned; I didn't think it was open. No OPEN sign that is clear, the closed restaurant and lack of good signage at entrance is not good; everything needs a coat of paint; clean front entrance windows

The room was deceint for the price.

We were not able to sleep. There was a door leading to stairwell to go outside that would slam when closing. People were coming an going all night. The air conditioner in the room did not work properly. The room would not get cooler than 74. Too hot.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There were issues with the plumbing in the bathtub/shower. The shower option would only allow hot or cold water. It was strange.

Location Breakfast was decent

First computer was down to check in. Came back 3 hrs later 7 pm and still room not cleaned.

Staff were great! Complementary breakfast was really good. Price was right.

Did not have indoor pool as the site claimed. Shower was not great pressure and lots of hair in the drain causing slow drain. Cosmetically needed updated but was clean in our room which is a must!

Room was clean! Breakfast was a good variety! It was awesome that we got to swim across the street at an indoor pool when yours was shut. Not what was expected but a very nice nice bonus

Check in night staff had 2 kids with her that were whining during the entire check in process. Lobby was extremely warm. Pool was closed but made up for!

Location and pet friendly

poor breakfast motel and grounds needs major maintenance done

Clean

hard to find, street sign not working

Comfy bed, tv, spacious.

The showers are kinda old and did not make me want to use them. They might've been clean, but they just looked dirty because of how run down they are.

It was a good location.

The TV didn't work very well. The room was dark, dingy, and had an odd smell. The toilet had a ring around the bowl.

The pet fee is not ridiculous.I have 2 dogs and that can add up quick. And, like I said last time, as long as I put them on their kennels, I can leave them in the room if I leave.

The location was great. It was close to I35 which we took everyday to places we needed to go. There were good eating places within walking distance from the motel. The price was great. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast was skimpy. Enough soap, Kleenex, etc. that you usually find in motel rooms was missing. The bath water did not get hot.

It was clean, functional and inexpensive. It felt relatively secure and everything worked. Will stay again when I just need a place to stay overnight on the road. Take advantage of the value here before they get it completely fixed up and jack up the rate

When I stayed the place seemed deserted and I wasn't sure it was even open. I think it's in transition to new owners or management and they seem to be working on it.

The price

No internet!! They also added a surcharge for the safe in the room that was not in the online reservation amount.

Nothing, it was dirty mouse droppings on the floors horrible pillows and almost scared to even get in the sheets. This hotel should not be ranked a 3 star very misrepresented.

See above AWFUL!

Not much

Bad weather and no salt was put down on front sidewalks. T.v. channels only half worked

Breakfast was never restocked so there was never any milk and no staff around. Gaps in around the outside doors so cold air blew in.
