Rodeway Inn Portage

The hotel in general is pretty nice, it is currently under construction as they are remodeling but it is a beautiful hotel. We also liked that it is dog friendly.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke and I think our neighbor was smoking late at night because it was seeping through the bathroom vent.

The front office staff were rude. The computers were down so the person working entered my credit card for incidentals on a cell phone. Lots of construction inside

The room had new furnishing and fixtures

There wasn’t breakfast the first day although the reservation said there would be. The room lacked shampoo and conditioner. When I asked for some, it never arrived. The hotel was being actively being renovated during out visit.

Wonderful staff.

There was no shower curtain, nail polish spilled all over the floor, the phone and tv did not work at all, the bathroom was filthy, no extra toilet paper, there was still food in the fridge so no one cleaned the room fully. The pool's completely filled in

The prices of getting the room, there was a problem and it was solved n a minute

The signage out front could not be read at night !

The upgrades are looking good. No painted tubs, aesthetics are good. No bed bugs, pests. No cigarette smell.

There's no pool, game room or exercise room currently as they're being repaired/upgraded.

The person who was working the evening shift was friendly, very helpful, responded to every request we made with the utmost courtesy and made our stay very pleasant. The bed was super comfortable.

I wish the pool had been open, and I understand that there was some work to be done. The room needed some attention and the evening desk clerk took care of it immediately for us.

The lady at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. Also, the morning chef/cook went above expectations and served us very well.

The pool was very cold and the kids didn't want to stay in it very long. It would be nice now that there is no hot tub if the pool could be heated up a little more.

No breakfast available!! I reach someone to the front desk and told me they dont have any one in the kitchen the person at the front mentioned it that she can make scrambled egg Also the pool wasn¿t available sheets smell awful! No towels in bathroom

I didn¿t like anything about this hotel !! Was a awful experience

The only good thing was when we got there they didn¿t have the room we had paid for ready so we got a suite.

The hotel was not a good one and we won¿t be back . Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling and smelled like it . The breakfast the first day was ok but the next day they had hardly any breakfast out even when asked about they didn¿t care .pool was closed .

One of the employee, was great! She went above and beyond.

Room unclean w/dirty underwear in bed. Bad odor. Pull out sofa did not pull out. Pool and tables unclean. One day pool was closed because they did not have any ¿clean pool towels.¿ Twice barely anything for breakfast no plates/forks, cereal no milk

the hotel was 8 minutes from where I needed to be. I enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good. parking was available. wifi was good. the room was clean and spacious. there was a microwave and fridge very convenient.

staff was friendly and polite but hard to find at times. the towels need to be upgraded they were flimsy. there was only one roll of toilet paper in the room, we received another upon request.

It was a good hotel and staff was very friendly. The room was nice enough, it had a pool with a kid area open, and it was a pretty close drive to alot of good places. Breakfast was nice plus. Over all it wasn't fancy but it was good and we had a nice time

The pool area was a lil unkempt and showing some age, the carpet in the room was a bit dirty, breakfast was sometimes short food/limited option, and the immediate area around the hotel had a lot of truckers and potholes. It didn't feel like the best area

Way overpriced! left at 6:45 for a couple hours in morning and asked the front desk what time check in was and was til 11:00. I did not check out but took our overnight bags to the car. returned around 9 and room was open and getting cleaned. Not happy.

100% positive we left a item of clothing. called to not get a return call so called again. they still said they did not see it but would check again and call back. Never got the call back so was tossed or taken by house keeping. $50 underarmour top

Room was dirty, it smelled, wasn't vacuumed, stained carpet, food on the ground, massive mildew/mold in bathroom vent, shower faucet sprayed everywhere, was extremely in need of maintenance. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Pool pipes burst the day before & water was cold and no jacuzzi no towels in room or pool area

Staff was unfriendly and when reported problem to front desk it was not addressed.

There wasn't much to like about the hotel. The location was excellent for our trip and the staff that served breakfast was nice, but that was about it.

The front desk staff seemed annoyed and weren't very friendly. The first room we were put in was dirty, and one of the bed's sheets were nasty. We complained and they gave us a new room that was definitely better, but still not extremely clean.

Has a good location..Nice staff..great pool for kids and families..good breakfast selection..Bar area in lobby with food selections and cocktails..

Due to covid restrictions on pool..Which they need a better system..Had sign saying pool area was full for the evening..When many times there was not max number of people..The Spa area had cool water not warm to hot like normal spa temperature..

Excellent customer service. Very nice hot breakfast.

Poor location. This hotel is in the hub of the trucking industry. Should be advertised as such. Pool was closed. Very bad odor in the lobby. Common areas were very cold. No heat! My room was very old and worn. Drafty! Only one elevator working.
