Hampton Inn Portage

Hampton Inns are reliably clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast looked well stocked and fresh. Wish I would have eaten it instead of going to Dennys as my child requested.

There was no shampoo or conditioner in the dispensers. There was construction going on and loud noises in the hallway several times from early morning cleanup.

Just about everything in the hotel was clean and new. The room was modern and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the NEW tv was appreciated.

Two minor things- the AC in the room is old, noisy and didn't wok well. The clothes closest was not finished (no clothing bar or shelf for the iron.

This is a dated hotel..Mattresses are worn..i would not recommend this hotel with a very nice Holiday Inn next door

Mobility limited access to the shower with roll-in capabilities.

Hot breakfast was non-existent because ?the kitchen?s oven was broke.? Bathroom did not have a cover plate over the drain causing me to fall.

Horrible stay. Key cards have to be reprogrammed every day. It would take several tries to get the door open. Requested housekeeping, they never showed up. Had to buy towels so I could have clean towels for my 9 days stay. Gym was not functional.

This hotel knew they were full capacity but was not prepared for a full capacity weekend. There were no towels so we couldn?t shower or use the pool, no toilet paper and when we ask for things, they were annoyed like we were an inconvenience

Toilet was clogged in two rooms that we rented. They did not switch us to a different room.

Liked the price and cleanliness.

Keys had multiple problems during stay, towels not stocked according to number of guests.

NOTHING. STUNK LIKE SMOKE, SHEERS IN ROOM WERE YELLOW BROWN AND THE STENCH PERMEATED THE ROOM TOO. THE SINK WOULDN'T DRAIN, THE TUB WOULDN'T DRAIN. outside smelled. it smelled like a rotting dead animal. this place was horrible.

EVERYTHING, I'LL NOT STAY AT A HAMPTON INN AGAIN. FOR THE CHARGE I EXPECTED SOOOOO MUCH MORE. THIS WAS A CRIME. I WAS CHARGED FOR MY 6LB POODLE. HE'S NEVER BEEN AS DIRTY AS THIS PLACE WAS. I DIDN'T PUT HIM ON THE FLOOR .

Room was good

The property on the outside looked abandoned. Letters missing from the sign, trash cans overflowing, and the grass and weeds were waist high

No breakfast No room cleaning/refreshing

It was affordable, close to places to eat and close to the highway. The room was clean.

Bathtub was kind of grungy.

Didn't like the damage deposit thing25$ charged me twice still hasent came off my card not to happy with that. Staff said it was standard, only hotel I've ever stayed that had that 😡

Decent location. Not as close to beach as some, but close to restaurants and main roads. The room was clean. Check-in was easy. The hotel allowed us to check in 45 minutes early, which was very helpful.

The staff were less than friendly--not mean, just disinterested. The breakfast was just OK. The AC unit in our room didn't work very well.

Normal when booking in an area not familiar, I'm not so lucky with condition of hotel. However, we were greeted with friendliness and it was a really nice hotel for the price we paid. Met above our expectation.

Staff was friendly. Carpet didn't look vacuumed well or clean.

The staffs were very accommodating and friendly especially the lady that checked us in. SHE helped us resolved the issue with 1 room that was not booked in the system but it shows on our booking confirmation that we booked 4 rooms.

Do not book this hotel, I repeat, Do not book this hotel. We made an honest mistake by booking the hotel 5 days prior to our stay. Due to a late arrival (7:30pm local time) they gave our reserved room to someone else. Manager and Ass. Manager are liars...
