Comfort Inn Madison near Clifty Falls

Everything was great. Best experience for the price from very clean parking even during ice and snow clearing, registration desk, room cleanliness, personal, breakfast and checkout.

Staff was amazing, super friendly. Location was exactly where we needed to be.

Yes, I can leave a tip for the housekeeper but not the breakfast people. The ladies serving breakfast were absolutely a joy. Constantly on top of all breakfast items. Housekeeping only made one bed every morning, even though both beds were used.

Location to Hanover College is excellent, as well as proximity to downtown Madison.

The walls are paper thin which allows noise from other guests into any adjacent rooms. I bit pricey for the overall hotel quality.

Breakfast and the waitress was very professional, friendly and polite.

Very noisy mainly due to other visitors letting their children run up and down the halls. Would be helpful to place families with young children away from others without children.

Front Desk staff person Lauren is so sweet and very accommodating. She made sure that we were happy with our accommodations.

The bed was ok, but not as comfortable as I was hoping.

It would be nice to have the continental breakfast available until 10 a.m.

The check in staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was hot and tasted good.

The bed was awful, we both woke up with lower back pain. Not a very good night of sleeping in that bed.

The shower head could have been more powerful. The spray was too weak. I had difficulty rinsing the shampoo out of my hair.

Bedding was a sheet and a duvet which is too hot for me. Also, all of the pillows were down with zero support. I'd like to have a choice so I don't feel like I'm drowning.

The Location in a State Park up on a hillside overlooking Downtown but in nature right in the woods. Was very Serene and peaceful especially at night.

I didnt like I was charged a $18 fee on my room tab for someone going down to the diner and getting food. Was also after checking out and back home charged a $100 fee on my card for something im not aware of that my account charged me a $35 overdraft fee.

They gave us keys to a dirty room when we showed up at night to check in. Housekeeping had not cleaned it when the last person left. Beds were slept in,bed clothes were not changed, bathroom dirty, floors were not vacuumed, trash cans full.

Convenient location. Very well maintained property.

Sign on front door falsely claiming that firearms are not allowed in hotel room, despite state law stating otherwise. Breakfast staff Nazi ordering guests on Covid protocol without realizing they were not getting any food.

Hotel desk clerk did not have a mask on. Apologized for forgetting to put her mask on. Then mocked the situation by stating “my mask is right over there.” Hotel had no safety measures in place. No plexiglass separating the front and rear of the front

Stayed in room 113. It needs immediate attention. Heavy musty mold smell. Both my boyfriend and I woke up with sinus issues after one night’s stay. The hot breakfast situation is horrible. Not even considered food. Boiled eggs were like rubber!

The front desk person was lovely. It was very nice to have breakfast included. We would have liked to sign up for your Comfort Inn rewards program but had to get on the road. If you could make it simpler and easier we would have joined.

There was really no place to sit and eat our snacks in the room. And to only include 2 towels for 2 people was a little chintzy.

We checkeed in around 930pm and the lady working the front deck was very sweet and attentive.

Breakfast was just ok but free.
