Comfort Suites Southport

Location. Our room was clean .

Carpet on the fourth floor needs to be shampooed and then some areas needs to be replaced or mended . The couch in our room was very uncomfortable. It felt like there was no support in it. We could not sit on it totally unusable. TV in the room was very small. Staff was folding towels and sheets on the receiving counter where customers check in. I didn’t think that was professional or sanitary. There were two people working at the front counter upon checking out, so I’m sure that task could have been divided between the two. Folding of the laundry could have been done in the laundry room. Our keys cards kept deactivating, which meant that we always had to go down to the front desk to get them reactivated. We found this to be a very inconvenience . Plus we are seniors

very helpful staff, I had a few wants and the staff went out of their way to please, this hotel is a must stay , a person/ traveler can easily tell when the owners and management truly care, thank you

I wish the couch and chair was focused towards the TV, but that's a minor issue

Swimming, pool was small, so wasn’t packed . The location was perfect. The room was spacious enough

The rail to get get out the pool kept coming out the ground, not safe ., the room wasn’t cleaned completely and was awaken to mice running in my kids snack bag,had blood smudging on bathroom door

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was decent, could use more protein options. The rooms were very clean.

The toilet didn’t work properly, and my key card took several tries to open the door each time. The ‘heated pool’ was lukewarm and not too enjoyable.

It was a good location and priced well. Staff was very nice.

There were signs of age such as carpet/stains/rips and the bathroom walls/ceiling had stains which looked like someone threw a cup of red liquid at the walls/ceiling. I just needed a place to sleep for the night so not a big deal for me being alone.

Close to my location, complimentary breakfast, respectful staff, fairly clean, large room, comfortable bed, temperature controlled room

Little noisy at times from where i was. Stained carpet and couch. Not bad for price point

Location was perfect for family visit. Everything you need is nearby. The breakfast was excellent! Hot and cold tasty foods. Attendants very helpful!
