Location of hotel was good. You can walk to city centre and to the beach. Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was very good value for money accomodation place.

Pre cooked breakfast

We were quite surprised about the price/quality for this hotel. It is very cheap and the room was comfortable, and the beds were good. The atmosphere of the room was not that great (felt a bit like a hospital room) but we had fun about it. No issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom had some forgotten parts with the cleaning. But in the end just a good hotel! The hotel is a bit dated, but that's something that makes it special at the same time.

It would be easy to find something. But for the price we payed, it is a budget hotel, with a very good quality. So I am not going to complain about anything.

Hairdryer not in rooms as standard - you have to ask from reception. We briefly checked in to leave our bags and didn't return until gone midnight, meaning that when we woke up in the morning to take showers, we then noticed that the hair dryers needed to be requested. Unfortunately the timings of our event meant that we didn't have time to check beforehand but I think it is expected that a hairdryer should be in a room as standard. We were woken up by the room above pacing across their room (amongst other bed time activities...) from 6AM. There is not much sound proofing between the rooms. Also found a pubic hair on top of the toilet roll when we first got into the room and dirt on the window sill, but otherwise the room and bathrooom were really clean. it is a shame these minor details let it down.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, willing to impart their local knowledge on where to go and what to see. Ideally located (5 minutes walk) near the beaches and the shops. The breakfast was excellent, more than sufficient (except the tomatoes could have been a little more cooked). The room was very welcoming and had all the facilities you need, tea/coffee etc as well as soap. There are no hair driers in the rooms, but they are held in reception if you need one.

Although not used by us, there is limited parking.

1. The location is close to restaurants, Shanklin Beach, and chine. I didn't like Shanklin Chine.2. The carnival festival ending road was in front of this hotel. 3. The staff were polite and helpful.

1. The rooms were small and a bit hot in summer though manageable.2. No Shampoo/gel/dryer in the washroom, they gave 2 soap bars.3. Low lights in the room in the evening/night.

Some of the staff were lovely, others not so much. Breakfast food ok, but service and organisation poor. This was a cheap hotel, but I have never stayed in such a bad one and honestly wasn't worth it.

1) Poorly organised parking spaces so after I had gone to the beach I received a phone call from the hotel asking me to return and move my car, because a coach needed to park. 2) room was dirty 3) breakfast is supposedly between 8 & 9. So no lie in when you're on holiday! We arrived in dining room at 8.30 and were ignored by the very overstretched waitress until 8.45 which meant our breakfasts arrived at the table around 9ish, so when we asked for more toast "no, the kitchen is closed".4) no sound insulation, you can hear every noise from nearby rooms, so I was woken very early by someone nearby having a conversation. 5) we were given a family room instead of a double, and the receptionist kept mentioning it when checking in as if we were supposed to thank her, offer to pay more or what? Very strange, she seemed quite annoyed to be putting us in a larger room than we booked. Don't worry, I'm sure it wasn't nicer. 6) as I often do at hotels, I asked if I could leave my car in the car park for a couple of hours after checking out, I have never had any hotel refuse this request before but of course this was the first time, "no because guests will be checking in". (No they wont, you cant check in till 3) Finally, nasty little teacups in the rooms, so if you stay, take your own mug if you like a proper drink in your room.
