Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Wayne Southwest

The morning staff and breakfast awesome. The previous time excellent stay. The hotel in general over all was nice.

The room smelled like wet dog and the man who checked me in argued with me that he didn't charge me 3 incidental charges.

Great location for our needs, fireplace a nice touch, room very clean.

The hotel did offer a free breakfast,free parking and free internet. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately,the pool was closed. No reason was given for the closure. The hotel is looking a worn and tired. It is time for a refresh.

The service was amazing and whatever I was lacking, the staff were very kind and helpful it was clean and being at home away from home atmosphere.

There is no close restaurants but the front desk had a list of restaurants that deliver.

The pool was not working and the place was dirty. The windows to the lobby, the air vents when you walk in covered in dirt. Worst was the hair on the bathroom floor and the long black hair in the bathroom sink. Yuck. Grossed me out on everything else

Room was not very clean. They ran out if food for breakfast. There were plenty of hours left in breakfast.

The suit setup was pretty nice.

Our room was dirty with an old work hat under the pillow where my daughter found it. During Covid times you would think they would be sure to clean. We reported it asked for a refund or another night in a clean room and was told there isn¿t a manager¿

the staff was very friendly, the breakfast had a good variety, the kitchen was fully stocked and all appliances worked ok, the bed was comfortable, the facility seemed pretty clean, and everyone who worked there wore masks.

The shower squealed while the water was running, a shelf in the bathroom that was poorly attached to the wall that made it impossible to use, chilly pool, not enough storage, noisy fireplace, tv did not even have netflix and could not rent movies.

Unorganized. Food is terrible. Pool is never in service. Seems like the place is going way downhill. I think the people are trying but maybe need better training.

I need a proper receipt. I was given a document that showed my balance was, but I need an itemized receipt.

The room was beautiful! We had our own kitchen and fireplace which was very nice.

The pool was closed and there was no hot breakfast although both are listed on the hotel website. The hotel associate said it was due to Covid-19, however there were other hotels in the area that had both. Not worth the price without those amenities.

Good Location western part of city. Excellent parking. Excellent mattress on bed.

Needs upgraded. Dated for today's standards. Room was dirty and smaller than expected. Friend found a roach in the bath tube. Whiskers found around sink in bathroom. Trash under sink was not emptied. When we wiped surfaces, clorox sheets turned black

I liked how the rooms looked. We liked the basketball court.

They customer service was rude.. didn't explain nothing. The room smelled like Dog smell.the air was preset at 74 indoor couldn't turn it down or up.. carpet sticking the when walking towards the bathroom. Very disappointing.

Everything was fine,except there were no a/c in the unit.it took them 11:30 that night to move me to another unit.

Staff was unwilling to stand up to expectations. Was not there to help during the evening and over night... very poor service during the nightshift.

It was close to the event.

Hotel is old, worn. Kitchen cabinets warped, missing essentials like a spatula, baking pan ect. Rude unruly kids in poor, advised front desk, nothing was done. Second night same group of kids running and yelling till one got sick in the pool.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Nice room layout. Convenient kitchen. Large TV. Nice fireplace for in-room ambiance. Extra perk of Paul Mitchell shampoo. Decent breakfast. Warm pool. Cheerful accommodating staff.

Small detail- the hot/cold labels on the bathroom faucet were switched, so we thought we had no hot water for a while. We should have thought to try the other direction.
