Didn't clean room , cockroaches didn't provide clean towels left 1 day early

I thought the breakfast was very good and the dining room lovely. My kids had fun in the pool. I loved the main room with the fireplaces and the river view was gorgeous. Staff very accommodating and the front desk helped me resolve an error I made while booking. Staff assisting with breakfast were very friendly and made recommendations about the area. I would return for sure, it is a gorgeous old hotel!

I was surprised after staying in your city more than once that this facility seemed further away from the center in which I was most interested and seemed adjacent to a strip of shops, parking lots, etc. Because the building seemed somewhat dated, even though my suite was absolutely fine, I didn’t have high hopes for the included breakfast. To my surprise, I was wrong to question the breakfast, which included an array of foods including eggs and gravy! There seemed insufficient staff, however, and other guests faced a shortage of insulated cups for coffee/tea (one example) and food refills on the hot bar. The one staff member who seemed to be handling everything regarding the breakfast dining area, however, made up for any shortcomings with her positivity and good cheer.

For two senior citizens, the two-level suite was more than we could enjoy. We could never get the lower-level TV to work, so we had to take our take-away food upstairs in order to watch what we had planned. I was impressed that there was re-cycling available in the room, even though I could not spot it anywhere else in the hotel, such as near the canopy at the loading area or in the dining area.
