Econo Lodge Quincy

The first thing is that it was no longer an Econo Lodge. We didn't stay at this hotel as when we pulled up there were 2 mattresses leaning up against the front door and a group of people milling around the parking lot. It was an unsafe situation.

Desk clerk was friendly, did everything she could to make our situation better

Rooms are an absolute disgrace. Dirty, filthy, every bad word you could think of.

Location was great and size of room. Heater was definitely working well, my husband turned it up and got really warm fast had to turn it down.

Water in the shower was only luke- warm turned all the way up. When we arrived back both nights in the evening you could smell marijana in the entry way and especially by the desk area.

The T.V. didn't work-Direct TV was out, no option for local channels. The breakfast room was filled with what looked like exrea furniture. The hotel advertisements brag on a breakfast.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was inexpensive.

There were things from previous guests in the drawers of the dresser and the refrigerator had not been cleaned in some time. Also, Fox news constantly on in the lobby.

Dirty, disgusting, bed sheets had stains and the shower was missing the handle to turn on. Lobby smelled like weed, and staff didn¿t know what they were doing, took me 25 minutes to check out! Eventually had to call later and confirm I was checked out

Cheaper than other options

This is not near the walkable downtown. I was given a key card for an occupied room.

There was an absolutely gorgeous view of the Mississippi river

The room was filthy, beds were unmade, and staff were very rude

east side of town made quick get-away as we were traveling east.

The description says it is pet friendly and "additional charges may apply." The description should say that "Charges WILL apply; $30 for dog over 25 lb." It is misleading to say that charges may apply because it suggests that charges may not apply.

Very noisy guests at all hours, room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had burn holes in the bed (although it was a nonsmoking room). Will NOT book here again.

Price and location

Furnishing were dated.

Friendly staff.

The carpet was newer but had uneven surfaces under it.

Good food friendly staff.

Parking was crowed

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat. The lication seemed noisy. The continental breakfast was not so good. The layout of the room was inconvenient, and there was no night stand on one side of the bed.

Clean and a nice room. Good breakfast. Good price.

Parking was a crowded and a bit small on the parking thoughts. That was my only negative.

There wasn’t hot water to take a shower and walls were thin and could hear everything going on

We love visiting our daughter's family. We always stay at Quincy Inn and Suites. The beds are very comfortable and it is always quiet. Walking distance to a Hy Vee for a late night snack. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Location. Running water. Bathrooms.

Dark,dingy old rooms. Smokers filled the hotel. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. Most rooms allowed smoking. It came through the walls.
