Comfort Inn Joliet West I-80

My experience was the worst I’ve ever had at any hotel.

The cleanliness was awful. My room had leftover clothes from another guest, dirty, stained sheets, and dust all over the furniture.

Mattresses weren’t too bad

Bathroom is disgusting and old, filth piled in all corners. Carpet felt dingy.

Tub had hair in it upon arrival, popcorn kernels on floor. HK came to clean with a dry rag. Rinsed hair down tub, picked kernels off floor w/hands, then said, "you okay now" and left. Outlets didn't work. Curtains soiled, rocks in pool, staff unfriendly.

Comfortable beds, carpeting floors, and large flat-screen tvs

When I arrived way too early as I was going to be busy till late that day, they allowed me to check in early. As a request, I was given aground floor which I needed. I was very appreciative of that.

The exterior!

I hated absolutely everything about this hotel! The bedding was dirty! The mattress was filthy! It smelled like cigarette smoke! The AC kept going out! Tv not functional, coffee maker not clean, toilet was low to the floor! I checked out! Didn?t stay!

TV didn?t work, reported it twice, guy at front desk at checkout was a flipping jerk, no one made attempt to look at TV and when I said I paid for a room that had working amenities his response was you got the online rate which is $60 below normal.

The rooms were dirty. The bathroom was so gross I didn?t even want to take a shower. The breakfast was gross. The microwaved the eggs and sausage

Breakfast

The AC didn't work, the TV volume was bad, the sheets weren't the cleanest, the hotel keys worked 20% of the time.

They allow pets

The room was not 100% cleaned, only one outlet worked, shampoo and conditioner were left from last occupants (half used bottles)

Plenty of parking.

The room was not clean. The carpet was really gummy. There was an unknown substance on the bathroom floor. Garbage underneath the bed and middle end table. Very poor cleanliness. The room key shut off before I checked out at 940am and checkout is 11am.

The beds were comfortable

It wasn't very clean, I had to ask for multiple new sets of sheets and towels because the ones they would bring looked dirty

The staff was very friendly, the lobby was very clean and cozy the room itself was clean

Had problems with the door handle on the room door, wasn¿t enough outlet and some of them didn¿t work, no comfy chairs

The cleaning staff checked with us every day to see if needed anything.

No gluten free breakfast items, not even a cereal.

I really liked the extra sink in this room, it helps with getting ready for the day a lot easier.

The room needs more lighting especially in the stairways and more towels. A gentleman who was working the next morning smelled extremely bad from lack of hygiene. That should be addressed it's unprofessional and bad for your business.

Convenient location close to the highway

There was a stale cigarette smell in the room that made it hard to breathe. The tile flooring in the bathroom and sink area was greasy. The shower was dirty and the shower fixtures were corroding. Noisy neighbors, overall negative experience.

The location was great! My room was nice and clean. The staff was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was nice also. I would come back again.

They couldn¿t help that the young kids across the hall kept slamming doors and running down the hall.

Bed

Hole bathroom door, dogwood bathroom floor, carpet ripped, Front desk personnel in morning was rude

clean, comfy bed,

noisy; all doors slam and can hear hall traffic thru doors as well as all footsteps in room above

That it's across the street from cracker barrel resturant.

The hotel clerk was not friendly, also the hotel room window was broken from the outside. We informed the hotel clerk about this issue he said that he was of the window being broken. My thoughts is why would you put your guest in a room like that.
