21c Museum Hotel Chicago

Pros +

• The room i had was perfect for my needs. The location was central to everything i needed. The musuem in the hotel was interesting and i loved the bar & restaturant .
• nothing
• This was the most "meh" hotel I've ever stayed at. Clean, nice bed, sure. But was it the luxury they sell on their site. No. Peeling paint (poor color choice). Five tv channels, of which only two actually work. Typical room size. Dark, narrow hallways.

Cons -

• I was double charged for the hotel stay and had to dispute the charge on my debit card. There was a fire the first night we stayed (2/14/25) and our bags were ruined by water gushing from the room ceiling after they put the fire out
• So, yes, stay at this hotel. Just don't expect much. Personally, I know of a cheaper, much nicer hotel not too far away. I'll just book that next time.
• Poor customer service. Front desk staff could care less as they want your money. I could not make it the first day of my reservation due to personal/medical reason and they flat out refused to refund me even the partial amount. I would not recommend it!
