The hotel generally offers spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with attractive decor and great city or lake views, complemented by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Guests frequently praise the excellent location close to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, as well as amenities like the rooftop bar and breakfast restaurant, though some note room service quality and menu variety could improve. A few cleanliness issues and noise disturbances were reported, but overall the hotel provides good value for a well-appointed stay in a vibrant area.

Hotels, for me, are about good location, plush comfortable sleep, and a great shower. Location: solid; sleep: fantastic. The shower, though, never got entirely hot! Because the rainfall head sits at 8' (and I'm 5'4") by the time the water got to my body it was tepid at best. I was soooo cold. The soap was on the bathtub, so I had to open the shower door to get to it (shivering now), and when I finally gave up after a good 40 minutes, all I wanted to do was cocoon in a robe to warm up. However, no robes in the room.
The shower, the water temperature, and the availability of a robe and slippers

Rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Free snacks and water in the lobby were a nice treat.
Staff was not particularly welcoming and didn’t seem to care about their guests.

Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Location is good, just a mile from the river. Close to some good restaurants and bars...and a lot of high end shops.

The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk to the lake and the Magnificent Mile, surrounded by great restaurants and shops. A pancake spot around the corner and Lou Malnati’s pizza right next door are major perks, especially if you're traveling with always-hungry teenagers. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. The overall interior design reflects great taste, creating a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, adding to the pleasant experience. The mini-bar is also well-stocked, which was a nice touch. It’s a great place to stay if your budget allows. Highly recommended!
I was fully satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would definitely choose it again. Next time, I’d request a front-facing room to enjoy a better view of the skyline.

The location of the hotel was excellent, offering beautiful views that truly enhanced the experience. The bedrooms were also comfortable, providing a pleasant space to relax and unwind after a long day.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel, as the level of service from the staff was truly unacceptable, leaving us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. The cleaning staff repeatedly entered our room without knocking or announcing themselves with a simple “room service,” which happened multiple times while we were inside, making the situation both invasive and unprofessional. On one occasion, we returned to our room around 5:00 pm only to find it hadn’t been cleaned at all, which was incredibly frustrating given the price and supposed standard of the hotel. To make matters worse, when I arrived around 11:00 pm, visibly exhausted and juggling luggage with another female companion, the doorman, who clearly saw us struggling, did not offer any assistance, and the front desk, who was fully aware of our arrival and situation, made no effort to instruct the doorman to help us. It was shocking to experience such disregard, especially from staff members whose roles typically involve assisting guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the lack of basic courtesy and attention from the staff left a negative impression that completely overshadowed what was supposed to be a relaxing stay, and I sincerely hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously to prevent other guests from having a similarly disappointing experience.

Centrally located, nice area. Our room was at the front of the hotel with a lake view, could be noisy at times.Very comfortable sleeps on the whole. Friendly concierge staff. Nice 'candy cart' put out for Friday through to Sundays...which you pay for with a daily amenity charge.
There's a popular small rooftop bar which locals use and can be difficult to get into unless reserved.
