The breakfast was great! What I liked about the hotel is the location. We were close to everything.
We did get upgraded to a larger room, however there was not much of a view.

Great location- very close to Lakefront- easy Blueline to OHare! Quiet! Love Kimpton happy hour and bikes!
A little bit of a strange lay out - former office building that shares space with other uses now -rooftop restaurant wasn’t particularly interesting.

Excellent hotel and location
Self parking in the mid $60s and valet parking for $83 per night is ridiculous.

The hotel was lovely and very clean. The room was cozy and very clean. All of the staff were helpful, courteous, and kind. The evening reception was a nice place to gather before heading out for the evening. The location was perfect for exploring downtown. We would stay again, but we'd request a room higher up.
We were on a lower floor at the back of the hotel and several times for an hour plus during the night to early morning (pre 6 an) there was a lot of noise in the alley- trucks running, backing up/beeping, and moving what sounded like heavy metal containers or dumpsters. It was extremely loud from 1-2 am and 5-6 am, and an elevated level one other time. It kept me awake the entire time and disrupted my heavy sleeper partner from time to time.

Great hotel with polite and helpful staff, on site bar and restaurant options, and spacious/cleanly rooms! Would recommend staying here for a weekend in Chicago!

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the location was amazing, the room was very spacious and comfortable.
For the price we paid, I expect for them to provide bottles of water in the room (and not expect us to pay 4 dollars per bottle). I also expect them to put a coffee machine / station in the room (which is standard practice). Also, housekeeping after maintaining the room very well should place new toilet paper rolls - we shouldn’t have to ask.
