Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Chicago River North location.

The A/C kept turning off in our room. We had to have maintenance come twice to fix and reset the thermostat. Overall I feel for the price of our room we could have stayed somewhere nicer.

Every single person who worked there was so unbelievably nice. They always went above and beyond what was asked. They were just so kind.

For a room with two double beds, you think there would be a mirror outside the bathroom area, especially because that space was small with just one sink. It was difficult for two people to get ready at the same time.

Location is near restaurants and attractions. Staffs are nice and helpful. You can ask them keep your luggage before and after check in and out. Elevator requires key cards to go to your floor only. Valet parking is $65 overnight.

Have to request room service. The hotel is near downtown so if you stay in 6th floor, you will hear the noise on the street at 2am.

It wasn't a big deal but just a little inconvenient that you need to swipe your room key on the elevator.

THE NOISE. I get that it's off of one of the busiest streets downtown but the night before I stayed at a different hotel right next to the train and could hear nothing. The noise from outside was so loud I could not sleep. I would not stay here again.

Rooms seemed clean and had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable.

Wifi struggle at times so watching Internet TV on the TV was rough at times.

THE LOCATION!!!! I was not expecting the location to be so PERFECT! We were walking distance to everything!!!! Literally EVERYTHING! They have a door separating bathroom from the powder room area. Check in was quick and easy. The restaurant/bar 10/10!

The hotel in itself was basic. Nothing spectacular. The lobby is simple when you regard the location.

No parking for guests you have to pay even you¿re a guest never experience this before so for that I wasn¿t satisfied at all

From the instant of our quick check-in,  the front desk asked if the TOP floor would be fine, and mentioned a wonderful view that included Marina Point Towers. We loved it ! Thanks Jack. Nearby affordable parking. Nice to have coffee in room.

HVAC was functioning fine. We did find a quality BIG TV had a volume issue. We would never JAM volume at any hour, but it took high numbers on the volume settings to hear the television. The stay was great , overall.

front desk staff hospitable courteous and friendly. guest rooms have been remodeled beautifully. can't find a better location in all of Chicago!

The staff members where very nice and professional at all times the location is good too and the room I got was nice and clean

It sounds like something silly but now in days we use to tvs we cam connect to our phones it makes all easier

Location is very good and reasonably near many good food and entertainment options.

Parking is a bit pricey, but it is that way at most all downton hotels.

Clean; housekeeping made up room after 1st night of 2 night stay without special request, something not seen since COVID

could not get A/C to stay on all night, kept turning off then kicking back on; I like it cold when sleeping and could not get that to happen; A/C worked just never got below 70

Someone was pounding on my door, and as I was walking to the door to answer it, the person had a card and unlocked my door with it and tried to forcefully come inside; however, I had the chain on the door which prevented him from entering.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious and clean. There are lots of options in the area for food and activities.

The showers are a little narrow and the TV stations kept going out and the streaming options barely worked.

Parking is not included, like for most hotels located downtown, but there¿s a public parking 1 minute away! Hotel¿s valet service is expensive! ($72/day)

Great location- across from my favorite restaurant, Shaw¿s. Close to the Riverwalk and Magnificent Mile. This will be my go to place when I visit Sweet Home Chicago. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly.

Outside the hotel seemed dirty and the cars were stacked up waiting to be parked by the valet. Hotel was clean and staff was good.

Shower was a bit small.
