Best Western Plus Hawthorne Terrace Hotel

Great location and clean.

They wouldn’t accept my card, so I had to find a card they would take and move money around before I could check in. It made the process much more stressful than it needed to be.

Location is great i love the front area where you can hang out and drink your coffee. overall facility is amazing, clean and lovely decor. Staff are very friendly and helpful

The location is great. The room was cozy and comfortable.

The front desk staff weren’t very friendly, the “hot breakfast “ was quite unappealing. The price was quite expensive for a mid week in Sept with minimal amenities.

The shower in this particular room spayed water all over the room All the other rooms we stayed in the showers were great

Room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the patio out front was excellent for relaxing

The elevator was out of service the entire time we were there, which was quite hard on my wife's knees going up and down stairs. However, the hotel voluntarily comped us for one night to compensate us for the trouble. I would have rated them much lower had they not done this.

The location is perfect. Great space in the room to unpack (dresser) and hang clothes (closet) and even two full length mirrors for the two of us to check our looks before leaving.This is my second time staying here and I love it!

The smell of the hallway on our floor was very unsettling. Smelled like… a cats litter box? Or like a dead grandparents home.. as if the carpet was moldy. Strangely the stairwell and lobby and room did not smell like this, just the hallways. Could do with an air freshener plugged into just one outlet.Also the elevator wasn’t working the last day and a half so that was just a bit annoying after walking around all day having to climb stairs but obv that is not the norm so I don’t consider it a deterrent for booking again.

The location is excellent. It is within close lock, walking distance of many restaurants, coffee, shops, bars, and all sorts of activities.

There’s nothing special about the hotel, except that it is extremely expensive. There are very few people on staff and almost no one able to respond as problems arise. The staff are not terribly friendly. The breakfast fare is ho-hum. There is cleaning and fresh towel service only once every other day.

We had a very nice stay. Room was comfortable and well fitted. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
