Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel

ITS WAS SAFE

Valet way too expensive $88 per night and they wanted $15 a day for wifi. The rooftop was closed so we didn't get to see that.

The staff were amazing! They were extremely helpful and accommodating.

The room had a weird odor and was in need of some updating.

Front desk was very friendly and gave us an upgrade and 2 free cocktails for our anniversary

Late night bartender was rude and did not seem like he wanted to be there.

Beware. Room was grimy. They promised a credit to room service from the resort fee, which is ridiculous to begin with. Not only did they still charge me, but they charged me twice. So I had the privilege of paying $50 for a bagel

Location was perfectly next to the river walk. Staff was very friendly and professional. Security was diligent. They are pet friendly.

Beautiful hotel on the Chicago River, close to the Red Line that we take to Wrigley Field. Clean room, great service, friendly employees.

Location was walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The staff was knowledgeable about local dining options. The room was beautiful and included a wonderful view of the Chicago skyline. 10/10 in every way!!!

The hotel was very nice. In my opinion, extremely overpriced. The rooms were outdated. However, the hotel was very clean and the location was great. We were expecting a higher and hotel for the price that we paid.

The staff, location and room quality/size all exceeded expectations. Best hotel staff in the City, friendly and helpful - made our stay great. Cannot beat the location for dining, shopping, easily getting to museums and other points of interest.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back!

Our room wasn't clean. Yuck. Moved a sofa out of in front of the connection room so we could access our other room and there was a mans sock. Dirty carpet. Dust CAKED in the ceiling shower vent.

Beautiful decorated lobby and omg the smell in there was amazing. The staff was friendly during check in. The beds were comfy too and the river view was awesome.

I wish there was a hot tub at the pool.

Perfect Chicago location! Amazing cocktails and food in lobby. Comfy room with great view!

Contacting anyone at the front desk or otherwise was extremely difficult, wallpaper was peeling in room, loud neighbors.
