Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Downtown

Staff are so friendly and patient with children. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast, gym and pool are really nice. Cool area for dining and bars in Chicago.

It rained and we forgot our umbrella. It used to be common that hotels would have umbrellas to lend guests, but no umbrellas. It's not a serious issue just a suggestion to make the hotel even better.

Super friendly helpful awesome staff!At the front desk she heard me talking that we slept terrible on the train on the way in. Got us a rear room. Did not hear one siren at night and slept great. Beds and bedding were awesome, quiet AC/heat. QUIET rooms all around! I didn’t hear anyone in the hall, didn’t hear city street noise, I slept like a log! Great breakfast too! Open 6-10AM!! Amazing.

We thought the hotel was good value based on location close to river and magnificent mile. We had a large family room/suite which suited our needs perfectly

The staff was attentive and cordial. In general the hotel and room were clean.I used the ftness room and found it functional and clean

The bedspread that served as a blanket was not fresh and probably not clean. I did not use it.The room was very dark.The breakfast had a cafeteria vibe, very busy, and the area was stuffy, not well ventilated.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, very good breakfast, smooth check in / out procedure.

Had all the amenities I needed. Great location - exaclty where I needed to be.

Way too dark - needs more lights inside. And I don't know why all hotels give you a desk where the seat is way too low and you hurt your back when you work on hyour laptop.

The hotel is excellent, fast check in/check out, clean everywhere, excellent beds, bed linen and fresh, new towels. Quite acceptable pool, also a cool terrace, where you can relax in the evening. Not bad breakfast, although the description of the breakfast was overstated, in general it is no worse and no better than any American breakfast. Good for visiting Chicago for a few days

It is very inconvenient to use the TV remote, you have to be a genius with buttons, why did they do it like that? Also, there is no or did not work a hood in the bathroom, which is very inconvenient.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location. Comfortable, spacious, clean rooms. Hot breakfast.

The only con we had was the noise from the neighboring fire station. We were never bothered at night and it honestly added to the experience for us!

Convenient location near lots of restaurants and a subway stop.

Parking price was outrageous. Desk Staff seemed mystified by requests. Minor things were broken and no one seemed to do anything.
