Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/N Loop/Michigan Ave

Perfect location if you are walking everywhere downtown! Right around the corner from the river and boat tours! Everything you want to do is nearby. Clean rooms. Big breakfast included so you don’t have to pay for more meals out!

Only 1 elevator seemed to be in use in he first day but the others were in use the rest of the trip.

It is a neat hotel with the original design touches, very clean.

Every time our toilet ran it sounded like a tea kettle going off, so loud it was startling. We were awaken all though out the night to the point we were exhausted the next day.

The location is great and the building is beautiful. The water temperature and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Most of the employees that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel fridge was too warm. Maintenance had me see the fridge temp in a vacant room and it wasn?t any colder. We even put a bag of ice in the fridge and our food spoiled. We brought food from home that wasn?t safe to eat and our leftovers also spoiled.

didn?t like the huge ?pending? charge on my credit card. i did have to call a few days after our stay to make sure the charge was reversed. ?

The location was convenient to the things for which we were visiting Chicago

Check-in took 45 minutes. No hot water in the shower. lousy tv service. broken sink faucet. elevators out of service. terrible fitness center.

Breakfast was great, location was great, decor and friendliness - it was all perfect!

Wasn't too fond of valet parking, but that's everywhere downtown.

Bathroom was dirty, stains on wall, door wouldn't shut. Told front desk and they kindly moved us to a different room. Unfortunately that room had the same issue. Floors filthy, walls stained, bathtub had hairs, etc. Bedroom was fine.

Don't let the free breakfast be the reason you choose this hotel. Unless you like the gritty fake eggs and dried out potatoes. They do have oatmeal and waffles as well as some fruit. Also they have the cheapest most sandpaper like towels. Just FYI!

Great location. Close to Millennium Station and downtown. Include breakfast was adequate with decent options.

Purchased upgraded river view room which as a joke and on only the 6th floor. No room service during our stay and had to call or stop at front desk for towels.

Great location. Close to transit. In town for Thanksgiving parade was 2 blocks away.

Carpet squares in room were not secured to floor. Air conditioner was loud and dripped water onto us since it was over the bed.

Bathroom has pee on it. Breakfast runs out of stuff early. Even coffee.

Location, location, location! Just steps away from the river, Magnificent Mile, and Grant Park.

The room didn't have a microwave, and there was a lot of noise at night with pipes and construction happening next door.

Very convenient location (steps away from Michigan Avenue, Millennium Park, CTA and the Chicago River), excellent free breakfast
