Doubletree by Hilton Chicago Midway Airport

Location! It was near the airport (however did not hear a thing while in my room), dining, shopping, and much more! And we were not far from downtown Chicago which is where the event was that we came into town for.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained with a restaurant/bar in the main lobby. The room was the cleanest room I think I've ever had at a hotel with a fresh smelling scent and light touch bleach in the bathroom. Overall a very nice hotel.

The people in the room next to us were up till 3 am partying hard. I called the front desk and they "sent someone" but nothing actually happened.

The hotel bar/restaurant was a complete failure. At 8:30 at night it was going to be a 1.5 hour wait to get food. Decided to go to the bar, and no one came to serve us. Not one person even addressed us. It was not that busy at the bar so we just left.

The hotel very nice, clean, and the staff were friendly. The location and parking were excellent.

The outdoor patio looked nice, but it catered to smokers. There was an ashtray on every table, and many people were smoking. There wasn¿t an area outside for a non-smoker to enjoy.

It¿s in a location with tons of other hotels so worked perfect for a location for my son¿s basketball tournament. Made it super easy to all meet up.

I mean, it¿s a hotel and you¿re a captive audience so pricing on water or a can of pop is crazy. If you are staying a few days pack your own drinks and snacks for sure.

the amenities were good. fitness center and pool were nice. loved the bathroom.

there was a high school prom going on the first night I was there. while it didn't interfere with my room, it made the lobby/bar area highly populated to the point that I didn't want to be in those areas, but my room and floor were still nice and quiet.

Large comfortable and clean rooms and great restaurant onsite! Also parking was free!

Very easy to find and get to. Service was very good. The shuttle to the airport was fast and on time.

Had a shower drain plugged but was fixed quickly by maintenance.

The price and location met our needs.

The breakfast is not complimentary, and that is not made clear until you show up to get some.

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED that I had to pay $25 to check in early. I paid $--- a night for 3 nights, which was paid in full before I arrived in Chicago. Then, to place hurt to injury, this hotel did not offer complimentary water. $4.00 16OZ bottle.

The staff. They were excellent. The attitudes, personalities, and friendliness every time I interacted with them was awesome. Alissa front desk clerk; she is perfect for that job and does it well. Room was very comfortable I slept well. Great place!!

For $--- a night, there should have been free breakfast and round the clock coffee at LEAST. I¿ve stayed at way cheaper hotels and they had those. Those amenities should be bare minimum. Also, no bath tub. Otherwise good.
