Pros +
- We had a wonderful duplex cabin and right across the road from The Henry Tiver where people were trout fishing. We had a full kitchen with a great deck with picnic table and a gas grill.
- Beautiful property on the river watching people fishing. Room was so clean and modern with special touches we noticed right away. Loved the bar and restaurant which was full. The staff was young and helpful and you could tell Loved their jobs.
- The hotel location was amazing. It was so fun to walk right out to the river every morning and enjoy our meals outside by the river. The grass area was perfect for our kids to walk around and explore.
Cons -
- Bathtub was in the bedroom. This was not mentioned in the description of the room or in pictures.
- The bathroom was small, so they could use another mirror at least, somewhere else. They need to leave the a/c on low or at least go and turn it on when they know they have a booking for that room. The a/c worked great after we got there.
- I can¿t think of anything. It was a pleasant surprise hotel on our cross country trip.

We were not told that the front desk was closed for the winter until the day before. We felt extremely unsafe with their remote check-in procedure. There was no staff on site. The few staff we did see were not hospitable.
Peaceful, right on river, watched the fly fishing from the deck. We didn¿t want the hustle of West Yellowstone so this was great. Our room #17, was excellent, very clean, staff was excellent.
Totally expected but lots of bugs in the morning. No mosquitoes, no bites.
Great location and the room was very clean
The lock on the front door was difficult to engage and every time I did I was afraid that it would break. There were also quite a few other minor deferred maintenance items that needed attention. The only contact with staff was by text.
The location is beautiful and right on the river!
They communicated with me 100% via a text message. Not seeing a single staff member at any time was sorta odd. Literally the only employee that spoke with us was the housekeeper who woke us up early Sunday morning by trying to open the door!!
The staff were awesome. Great communication and they were very welcoming. We arrived later than we thought and they made a spot for us at the restaurant.
The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the furniture was very worn and the rooms had spiderwebs and a lot of dust. The bathroom was not clean and the tub floor was still dirty. There was hair and dust on all the ledges and the walls were greasy.
Very pretty by the River.
Breakfast was minimal. Hot tub wasn¿t working.
The staff was amazing. We had a late check in and they were super accommodating. Texted us directions and everything.
No!
Location on the river.
The cleanliness, the pool table was not in good condition. The Hot Tub had been broken for over a week. There were cobwebs all over and the lodge area hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.
Unable to go outside due to bugs, window lock broken. Tub and sink did not drain. Water leak over chairs on balcony. Bed so high difficult to get in and jump off and I am 5 foot 8 inches, long drive to Yellowstone. water temp was either scalding or cold
loved the view of river out the back door. Enjoyed sitting in chairs available on the lawn. Nice place for the atmosphere, even if we didn't fish. Close to Island Park and convenient.
We were disappointed that we had no phone in the room. We went to lobby early morning and no one there, doors locked. We wanted to see if breakfast was served and it was not available. No handbook in room to tell of amenities or where to go for questions.
The location was absolutely amazing. The Snake River right out your door made for beautiful views as well as wildlife sightings.
We did not have a good experience with the food in the restaurant. We ordered the ribeye. Is was very thin & under cooked. Also the mashed potatoes were cold and the broccoli was very hard. I would not recommend it.
nice room, nice place
The table broken by cold weather, but charged 100 USD to me, it is unreasonable!
The hotel staff was very sweet and the room was cozy but spacious. A perfect place to stay the night before our early excursion to Yellowstone.
Nothing negative about our stay.
Nice scenery, very quiet and cozy. View from the lobby and restaurant are breath taking in the evening.
The hotel building is dated, so it creeks when people upstairs are walking around, and the walls are thin so your can hear your neighbors.
We loved the location the staff so very friendly the room big and clean
The atmosphere, the surroundings
Lack of service, no towels one day, no soap or toilet paper another and rooms weren't made on 2 days.
Quaint with log furnishings but not Eagan one comfortable seat
