This Best Western is about 5 miles from downtown Boise, Idaho’s capital and largest city. The hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the Boise Municipality airport. Best Western Northwest Lodge has rooms with a work desk and a refrigerator. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and cable TV with HBO. Breakfast is served every morning at this Boise Best Western. The hotel has a 24-hour indoor pool, fitness center, and hot tub. A business center with free printing, photocopying, and faxing is also available. Northwest Lodge Best Western is conveniently located near Interstate 184. The Idaho State Capital and Boise State University are just over 10 minutes away. Julia Davis Park, home to Zoo Boise, the Boise Art Museum, and the Idaho Black History Museum, is about 15 minutes away.

- The TV in the room did not work. BW staff tried to get it to work, but were unsuccessful. The set up of the room is not great as the sink/mirror is not with the toilet and shower.
- Nice, big rooms, comfortable pillows, and bed, good breakfast.
- Loved the mountain theme
Cons -
- The TV in the room did not work. BW staff tried to get it to work, but were unsuccessful. There was a lot of noise around 11 and midnight, while trying to sleep.
- Large towels, but not soft
- Did not have airport shuttle as advertised! Room smelled of pet urine and furniture is somewhat threadbare! Swimming pool was inoperative. Coffee was bitter and not hot and there's no microwave to heat it up in the breakfast area.
