Hampton Inn Ottumwa

Very comfortable bed.

The breakfast was very sub par for this hotel brand. The egg omelette was dry, the sausage was overcooked and very dry. The coffee was very bitter. Not use to this at a Hampton.

The pool was great. Big enough for some "short laps."

The parking was "workable," but the handicapped spaces seemed to take up (possibly) more space than needed. Maybe a clearly designated loading and unloading space?

Only thing I didn't like that the pool was money and I wanted to take hey dip in a pool that was no chance for that other than that and everything was nice

Very clean, close to everything and employees were very nice

Normally, this is a good hotel and normally I don't leave comments, but this time was different.

The air conditioner didn't work in my room, so it was hotter than normal. My business associates second room's air conditioner had the same issue and he had to be moved once due to a blood stain on the sheet in the first room.

The beds were very comfortable!

1. Room was dirty. We had to have a team member actually remove a very stained upholstered bench from our room. The headboard was covered in finger smears and dust and we had to smash about a dozen or so bugs at night. I've run out of characters...

Comfortable, clean, good location

One cracked ceramic floor tile in the bathroom was the only flaw I saw in the hotel.

Loved that the room which was very accommodating for my daughter's wheelchair giving her the freedom to move around the room with ease. Everything was clean. Breakfast was wonderful. The only place I will stay when visiting Ottumwa.

Breakfast was good--egg-product, potato, meat-product once in two days.

Would have preferred meat-product (sausage, bacon, etc.) both days.Room was not seen to, even though I stayed two nights. Not really an inconvenience, but not as expected.

The woman who checked me in was absolutely lovely. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed.
