Hotel O Oskaloosa Near Eddyville

This hotel is a complete dump. I wouldn't allow my dog to sleep there. The conditions were deplorable. Filthy rooms bugs in the bathrooms windows shot out and replaced with cardboard. The hotel is attached to a liquor store which doesn't fare well

Motel O located just North of Oskaloosa is somewhat outdated and no frills, but the room was clean, the desk lady was friendly and considering the price I would stay there again. At night time it is lit up like an amusement park.

The staff were nice.

This is by far the worst place I¿ve ever stayed at. Dirty and just run down. It was to the point that I slept in my car.

The rooms were excellent, the tv on the wrong spot while in bed.

Right where the bed was is the window and there is also a huge light shining in and will keep you awake all night. Placing the beds on different place and the TV in a different spot can solve these issues. Or place the light in at the door instead!

I was looking for the cheapest motel in town to stay while working at the Eddyville Cargill Shutdown. To my surprise it me all my needs. The hotel manager was friendly and easy going.

Not knowing in order to have a hot shower you need to turn the hot water facet on. Other than that it is what I expected.

When we pulled up to the liquor store/hotel, there were people fighting in the parking lot, lady working said it had been going on since 6am. I asked for a refund because of the unsafe conditions & she said ok. I wouldn¿t recommend to my worst enemy!

I can't really say I liked anything about the hotel the room was paid for but when I arrived they refused to give us a room because they wanted a $100 deposit and would not take a credit card

The fact that we ended up having to finda different hotel because the refused to give us a room even tho our room was already paid the wanted another $100

close to Knoxville Iowa Air conditioner worked good

door wouldn't lock. we were there Tue thru Sat. floor was not vacuumed once. on Friday they finally emptied the trash.never made up the beds while we were there.the towels looked like they had been used at a car wash.not much hot water. NOT GOOD

Clean but sparse room, host is in process of renovating, so to be expected. Need to change visible sign though, drove by it 3 times at night, not lighted, and finally had to call for location.

Cheap place just to sleep

Very bad motel flat pillows not up to date no breakfast as stated and wires staff

No breakfast, no Coffee, NO curtains on the windows, just shades that could be seen through. The grounds where not kept up.

The room was dirty and uncomfortable. I would sleep in my car before going there again.

Hotel was hidden and very rude receptionist.

Didn't have a good experience at all.

The location is inconvenient. They charge a pet deposit that is not listed on booking.com. the kid working the desk had to come fix the ac and the TV. They should sell more than liquor in their store since there are no stores in walking distance.

no frills. At a cost of about half the competition, it's way more than half as good.

Could have used a glass to take my pills.

The stuff was excellent and addressed my concerns in a timely manner. It's an older motel but they keep the rooms clean.

I'm sure so I had to stand on a chair to adjust the air conditioner, but that's a minor inconvenience and something I'm used to.

Staff were very and accommodating. The price was very reasonable.

It is an older facility and needs some updates. It's good if you are just looking for a place to stay.

The room only a a small space heater in it. So the Friday night was very cold. Door had a big gaps in it where air cone threw.
