Smelled very stuffy and damp. Staff was rude. Lots of spiders in the pool. Blood stain on the shower curtain. Charged me an additional $40 the day after we checked out but will not tell me why.

The room had a musty smell, & the toilet was very low to the ground for a taller, older gentleman to use. A handrail on the wall next to toilet would make it easier to get up & down from it.

Pool room heat didn't work. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. Internet was so slow I could not work. Breakfast was not good.

UNFORTUNATELY, ON SUNDAY, THE BREAKFAST FOODS WERE GONE AN HOUR BEFORE BREAKFAST ENDED. IT WAS GOOD THE DAY BEFORE.
Nice place for an event at the UNI dome, but have stayed in a lot nicer hotel for less.
Shower tile was discolored & grungy. Bathroom door squeaked & was not level. Wall heater control lid was broken & fell off while trying to adjust the temperature.(room 107)
We ate breakfast elsewhere.
Very high humidity in room… uncomfortable & cold almost smell the “mold”.We chose this locally owned motel as had friends living in Grundy Center & wanted the convenience of its location. We did have a bed to sleep in & a shower.
