Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Des Moines Airport

The front desk receptionist was so helpful to me during my rental car issues. The airport shuttle was beyond understanding shuttling back and forth while I was trying to get it sorted out too! The hotel was clean, safe, and had a great breakfast bar.

Very clean! Excellent breakfast. Super friendly attentive knowledgeable staff. We really appreciate this hotel for their hoard work in making sure we are comfortable. The only place Ill stay in Des Moines next to the airport.

The room was very clean and comfortable, comfortable beds, wonderful staff. Steak house next door was fantastic as well. Hot tub was wonderful after being in the car all day.

The room was dark. And then my lightbulb went out in light next to bed. They didn¿t have a replacement available.

The staff was very courteous when we came checked in after midnight. Breakfast was provided and it was close to the airport.

Several large groups (baseball or basketball) took over the whole downstairs lobby, pool, & outside area. Unaccompanied children in the pool area. Playing in the jacuzzi, jumping in and flooding the pool deck. Front desk was under staffed to deal problem

Location, the staff, and the services

Due to covid, my room wasn't clean everyday as they did in the past. And that bothers me.

I checked in & all was well. Front desk gentleman was superb. I left for around 3.5 hours only to return to a malfunctioning AC unit. I called the front desk & explained my situation and after a few questions the desk receptionist was happy to move me!

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and common areas. The night desk guy was very friendly. The breakfast was really good and the two breakfast ladies were so friendly!! We will definitely stay here again!!

Lobby smelled strongly of cleaning products. Must carpets, especially elevator, smelled. Room had bad lighting in bathroom

Cleanliness of facility, staff friendliness, room cleanliness along with nice breakfast (well stocked at all times).

The closeness to air port.

Disappointed the hot tub was down. Was the main reason I picked this hotel over the others. Pool didnt seem very clean.

Very small room

Convenience to the airport. Some items from the free breakfast bar were available to eat on my way to the airport on the hotel shuttle at 3:30am. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a king size bed, bathroom, tv, internet, and wake up call.

Didn’t see anything I didn’t like.
