Home2 Suites Des Moines at Drake University

Clean roomy. Nice gym.

Pool was closed

The newness of the hotel; the layout of our room; the excellent breakfast; friendly staff; great location for us.

Location and free parking

Housekeeping did not service my room the one full day that I spent there.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, great breakfast

Great location. Clean room. Helpful staff.

The room was spacious and there were adequate dishes.

The front desk receptionist encouraged us to call down if we needed anything. We did that and they never brought the requested item (a box of kleenex since the one in the room was wet).

The hotel's location at Drake University was perfect for our visit. Also, the hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were very helpful.

The breakfast entrees were cold. The eggs were actually too cold to eat.

Location, clean, safe, nice kitchen type area with couch and ottoman.

Why do all the beds have to be so hardno matter where you stay Its pathetic so uncomfortable!

Very comfortable, clean rooms. Pool was nice. The breakfast was a good and had many options.

Location was not close to the NCAA tournament activity and downtown. The assistant general manager was difficult and the entire staff seems to default to describing what they cannot do rather than what they can relative to housekeeping or fresh towels.

We like the location and it¿s quiet. Room is clean and the staff are friendly.

Requested 'light' housekeeping for one of the three days there but it never happened. Done with Hilton. You should note the new housekeeping procedures on the first page of your hotel offerings. Thanks.

Rooms were well appointed and nice sized with a microwave, large refrigerator and a couch. Breakfast options were good even though most were prepackaged. Elevators require use of your room key.

Bed seemed small. Elevators require use of your room key - up or down.

Location, Staff was very friendly.

The key function on the door to the room was a bit unresponsive, needed to try several times to open. Green light would come on, but then turning the handle to get in would not let in until after several attempts.

The location worked perfectly for me and my wife. The room and amenities were very nice and we were very pleased with the experience.

A more expanded breakfast would have been nice but is understandable with the recent COVID experience.

Super clean and comfortable. Tons of space with a great layout.

The front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect- 10/10 experience

The location and the quality of the hotel

The breakfast was repetitive and boring

Location

The room layout was ideal.

We had some difficulty getting the temperature consistent, but that was minor.
