Clean, super comfortable beds

No decent breakfast option. Should offer breakfast buffet at least on weekends.

Staff was so friendly. Room was amazing. I had lost my wallet and they were so helpful and kind.

The front desk person was super sweet and helpful, our room was sleek and clean.

The noise barrier could be better, but we used ear plugs so were fine

Location and accommodations were great. The staff, without exception, was friendly, helpful, timely, and responsive. So much so that it stood out - a unique experience

There wasn't very much for parking and they did charge if you did find a spot to park. I had to park away from the hotel, but I did get a credit for parking on my bill when I checked out.

Lovely hotel for a getaway weekend for New Year’s Eve!!!

Restaurant music very loud, more like a club atmosphere when good food was served and would have been enjoyed more with a relaxing vibe.

Parking was difficult, pretty pricey, no breakfast unless you paid $14 per person.

There was plenty of space in the room for luggage and the friends I had over. The shower has 2 shower options, and both had great water pressure! Shampoo and conditioner provided was bigger bottles, not the 2 tbsp worth like usual, and gave my hair VOLUME and felt clean! Bed was SO cozy! Had me, literally, giggling and kicking my feet to cozy into at the end of the night! The most perfect location right downtown, bars right around the corner! Will definitely be saving to stay at again!

Lighting was a little confusing to figure out. Lots of light switches that didnt seen to do anything.

When we checked in they gave us a room number when we went to this room and opened the door unexpectedly there was another family in there. Would definitely make sure everyone is double checking the rooms before placing others in them to be sure this doesn’t happen as it’s awkward for both parties it happens to.

Breakfast buffet was canceled without notice due to low occupancy.

Noise level of the DJ at the rooftop bar! I was on the 3rd floor and couldn’t sleep!

We enjoyed the upper level bar. The waitress was exceptional, timely and very organized. We loved our specialty drink and Goat cheese app, The front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and beautiful. We loved it. The location was over the top! We were able to see everything the East Village has to offer. We even walked to the state Capitol. Thank you!!

Parking was 1 block away. Not a big deal, price was less and we enjoyed the little walk.

It was conveniently located in East Village, walking distance to the capital and many local restaurants and bars. Every staff we encountered were very friendly. We really enjoyed the Republic restaurant and bar on the sixth floor. Good food, and great variety of drinks. Even got a glimpse of fireworks in the background. They also had shuttle to the state fair, which is what brought us to Des Moines. The lavender sachets offered in the lobby were a nice extra touch. First class.

The rooms were very clean and the area where we stayed was close to plenty of food and shopping options. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Parking is $30 a day if you choose to park on site, which is pretty expensive especially considering that the parking options surrounding the hotel are minimal. We were also given a $250 “miscellaneous charge” at check-out that none of the staff that I have called since can explain and that management still hasn’t reached out to clarify.
