Location and cleanliness

The bed was really hard. Booked for 2 nights, only stayed one night because of it

Could not adjust AC it was 64 degrees in our room most of the time

The space of the room, continental breakfast, pool, cleanliness, and location all stood out.

Would like a little better shower water pressure. Also maybe a more accessible brochure stating what restaurants and activities are nearby.

Hotel staff acted like they were able to help after I told 2 employees they had no forks for breakfast service. I don?t get a chance to eat in the morning and drive 5 1/2 hours to get into St. Louis

Phone in room didn?t work and toilet paper holder was broken and just laying on shelf in bathroom. Front desk staff stated they knew about it but maintenance hadn?t fixed yet. Also $20/car to park is pricey.

The river views were beautiful. The location was exactly what I wanted. So many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Walking distance to the Saturday morning farmers market as well.

Front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming. They communicated the bare minimum information, such as told us the price of hotel parking and to use our room key and did not tell us how to access the garage (location).

Quiet. No drama. No drug addicts 'lingering

Paying weekly you only get housekeeping every 2 weeks

Staff was on duty the night we stayed. He was extremely pleasant and profressional. He made me feel welcome and comfortable on a cold winter night when I was exhausted.

No drive right in front if door. Icy night. My husband has a prosthetic leg and had to wait in car while I checked in.

Clean, courteous staff, great location

Proxiity ti baseball stadium, where my grandson, Ian Miller, plays centerfield for the Cubs. The breakfasts were the highlight, enjoyed having two breakfasts with said grandson and his wife.

Location, pool, staff where all ideal. It overall a good experience.

Toilet leaked, no blankets or pillows for the kids, no towels for showering for kids.

There was no phone charger In the bedroom And all the noise and bumping next door to me and the hotel front desk did nothing about it.

Very nice location near an extensive bike network and restaurants. Walking distance to the Capitol

My room was set at 80°F and I was told there were not other rooms available, i didnt sleep very well and wasn’t completely satisfied

Proximity to Principal Park and restaurants. Protected parking. Staff would let me leave car in parking ramp beyond checkout to catch a Sunday AAA Cubs game at 1:08pm after seeing one sat night at 7pm. A decent free breakfast I the am too!

Great location, breakfast was fantastic.

Whole reason I booked this room in comparison to other Des Moines hotels, is because this one had available "river view" rooms with balconies. When we arrived, we were told that all of those rooms were taken. Would have chosen a different hotel.

It was clean and nicely decorated.

The three front desk personnel that we dealt with during registration and check out were all quite rude. The only nice employee we observed was the housekeeper who said hello and wished us a good day.

The staff was amazing! It was a very modern and exceptionally clean hotel!. They had complimentary water, candy and coffee in the lobby at all times. The business center, laundry room and fitness area were all conveniently located on 1st floor.

There was nothing that I did not like. Everything was wonderful.

We were in DesMoine for a marathon and the location was perfect for us. Loved all the walking paths, bridges, and water.
