    Pros +

    • The location to downtown Savannah and riverstreet and historic Savannah was spot on! They also gave you a $30 drink coupon for each day to be used in the lobby lounge. The rooftop bar "The Lost Square" was sooooo cool. Great views and breeze!
    • Great location. Pool was great! Restaurant and bar were great! Room upgraded to two king beds at check in which was amazing.
    • The hotel was decorated nicely. We liked 2 king beds in the room. The kids loved the large window with window seat. We got a lot of use out of the water station with sparkling water.

    Cons -

    • The only thing that we didn't like is there was no microwave in the room and no coffee maker...you had to go downstairs to get coffee and it wasn't very good...or order room service...but there was a starbucks right around the corner.
    • Room service/house keeping was horrible. Asked for our room to be cleaned and fresh sheets/towels/toiletries several times before ever getting anything. No communication between front desk staff and housekeeping.
    • The door seal was broken so the room was a bit noisy. The room was nice but very standard. The pool is not swimming friendly or kid friendly.

I loved the pool, the rooftop bar and the easy valet parking. It was a quiet oasis during a crazy st Patrick¿s day weekend.

    Everything was perfect!

    7SimonPosted on: 9-3-2019

That it was in the historic district

The hotel has an amenities fee that was not mentioned prior to booking, the parking situation is none existent so you are forced to pay an egregious price for valet, the roof top was closed for a private function and the bars close early in th

Location is close to everything. Hotel is as nice as I ever been in. Pool was great on a hot day. Roof Top bar was a nice touch as well. When I come back to Savannah, this will be the place for me.

Proximity to the river, the city market, and the historic district. Great views from rooftop bar.

Standard rooms are a little small, but adequate if you plan to be out and about most of the time.

    Good location.

Allowing folks from off the street to linger by door while smoking weed.

The Alida was the PERFECT hotel. We traveled to Savannah with my spouse, our children and my parents. My Mom has MS and mobility is an issue. The staff was so accommodating, providing us the perfectly appointed room that was convenient and accessible. The boys enjoyed the heated pool and we loved the bars, restaurant and complimentary happy hour. You can’t go wrong with the Alida!

No notes here, everything was perfect.

Clean , close to everything, wonderful staff.

All of the additional resort fees .Did not like that the pool was only 3ft deep.

The beds and pillows! The best. The room was very good, clean. All of the facilities were perfect and the location was a block from the riverfront. Definitely would stay again.

The location is fantastic! Walking distance to everything. Rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated. Rooms have a large beautiful window with a lot of natural light. The service was wonderful, friendly and quick to resolve anything needed. Also restaurant is delicious and has an amazing rooftop bar.

    Chic and good location

I had a service animal and they questioned me and almost interrogated me about what my disability was. Very rude receptionist. When looking for a hotel, it said “dog friendly, charges might apply” well…If not a service animal the charge is $150 per night! Also valet is $55 a night and there is no other parking in the area unless you get lucky and find street parking . Coffee pot in the room, but only two pods. They want you to go the restaurant and order a pot of coffee. Free empty water bottle, but you have to fill it in the gym!

The atmosphere, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, the food.

Can’t think of abything right now

    Stylish, great location

Couple issues in the room when we got there. Batteries dead in the remote, toilet wouldn’t flush. Maintenance fixed it within an hour but was still unnecessary

    8ChristinePosted on: 7-6-2025

Beautiful decorated lobby. Great with two king beds in the double room. Plus for the reading lights and the window seat. Great location just by the river walk. The complimentary breakfast was incredible too.

The bathroom needs a little attention.
