Residence Inn by Marriott Savannah Midtown

It was centrally located

The rm was too small. The breakfast food could have been better .The cooking utensils could be better.Could use an oven of some kind.

They put me and my family in a room. With a heavy metal door. That almost took my daughters arm off

¿Extremely noisy. People coming and going all hours of the night-most of which entered through propped doors to visit others that were staying there. ¿Overwhelming smell of marijuana which other guests complained of as well. -Internet rarely worked.

Good price, descent lodging for the money.

Apparently do you COVID they canceled their evening reception, and the hot breakfast , which was disappointing .

It was in a great location and offered free breakfast as well as in room full kitchen. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The dishwasher did not work well. Disposal was not functioning but we told the staff as we were leaving and they were grateful to know and would get someone to look at it once we left.

The staff were nice.

They did not clean the rooms unless you stayed 4 days. I stayed a week to bury my mother who passed.

Very happy we stayed here, comfortable rooms, clean, great location and very good staff.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Reasonable price as well.

Outside surrounding area and inside of the hotel was not very well kept. Not very clean. Very sketchy individuals in the hotel and there was heavy smoking, that should have been a non smoking hotel.

Wasn’t stocked with toilet paper/ toilet paper holder was broken/ toilet was malfunctioning last day/dishwasher full dirty water upon arrival / bed placement is right under air condition vent

Full size refrigerator, stove, complete kitchen; bedroom suite with separate bedroom, two TV's, comfortable.

It's advertised as a queen bed instead it is a full size bed.

I enjoyed the lovely lady at the desk checking in. She’s was very nice.

Unbeknownst to me the hotel charges a $100 pet fee. I wished I had known that as I would not have been embarrassed checking in and being told they have a $100 pet fee.

Nothing . Absolutely nothing

The room was pretty smelly . My daughter fell sick very first night . We had asked room service to do something about order . Even though they put the room spray it was not helpful. We left after first day even though ,we had 2 days booking. Very bad

Loved the free snack and drinks . Really great.

Street noise. Stayed in room 301, you can hear all cars speeding by. Very noisy. Front desk lady did not make the effort to put us in a quieter room since the hotel was even half full. Very disappointed

I missed the beer and wine mixer because I was downtown

This was our 2nd time staying at this Residence Inn. This is a great place to stay when visiting Savannah if you have a car. Parking is free & it's an easy 10 minute drive into historic Savannah. Rooms are clean & comfortable. B'fast & mixers are a plus.

Room located in front of hotel closest to very busy street. Poor sound insulation, so constantly heard traffic noise which was particularly disturbing in the morning. Provides a small courtyard for sitting outside, but no lawn or plants so not appealing.

I thought the staff were really polite and helpful, they were really interested in my needs and comfort. The breakfast was very good and everything was well run. The room was really nice, beautifully maintained and fresh.

Windows toward backyard. Lots of noise.

Lots of room, reasonable rate (for Savannah anyway), kitchenette is. Convenient & functional.

If you happen to get assigned one of the rooms adjacent to White Cliff drive you will likely hear road noise all night and it is a fairly busy street. These rooms are less than 50 feet from the road. Might not be as bad on 2nd or 3rd floor.
