    Pros +

    • Cleanliness and staff
    • We loved the location of the hotel and the historic design of the hotel. The lobby was very unique, and holiday decorations was really nice. The morning staff was very nice and got us a breakfast to go since we missed the hot breakfast.Hope to be back soon.
    • Location

    Cons -

    • Poor quality breakfast buffet
    • We had a room overlooking the construction, and the exit door beside our room closed very hard and was loud. The water did not heat up very hot in the shower, and was lukewarm. That was a bummer since Savannah was having a chilly spell.
    • Housekeeping lack of prioritizing room arrives, room was not ready by check in time 3pm. Room was ready over an hour late

Location for our events in town

Room had a smell that smelled of must. Manager came in and sprayed. Coffee in room was 4 bags of decaf coffee. 1 washcloth for my husband and myself. one of the two elevators was not working. Took very long to move from floor to floor.

    5Verified guestPosted on: 6-19-2024

I liked how close it was to river street

When we arrived there, I did not like the fact that considering how much they charge for the rooms, they charge another $45 on top of that for parking. Also, when we arrived, one of the elevators was broken, so we often had to take the stairs.

    9Verified guestPosted on: 5-19-2024

Yes the valet service they used only one valet unloaded our luggage, the other valet just stood there as we loaded our own luggage.

Very comfortable beds and well lit mirrors in the bathroom. Great location in the historic district! Helpful personnel.

1 elevator (of 2) was completely out (in a 7 story hotel). The other one was so overused that it took forever to get it. Visited over Mother's Day weekend and getting to Sunday brunch was problematic. Large brunch buffet but most everything was cold.

Our room was one hour late upon check-in... they had to switch our room. There was a major problem with the AC in our room as well! We were so disappointed, especially with us paying over $--- for two nights!!

    Great location.

I had called ahead to check the valet parking fee and was told it was $30. That was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. When I checked out, I was charged $45 a day! That is absurd! But they have a captive audience because parking is very limited.

Location was great to walk to restaurants, shopping and historic sites in Savannah.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-24-2024

The location is best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel. For the class of hotel it is, it is excellent. Breakfast had eggs with biscuits and gravy or another hot item. What you would expect. Nice way to start the day.

The shower never really got hot, just warm.

    7KevinPosted on: 12-11-2023

The location. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean

The charge for parking is very steep . The hot water they serve for tea tastes like coffee they need to clean the urn . Room staff very rude . No laundry bag in the room .

    10MichaelPosted on: 11-29-2023

Staff, clean modern room. Plan on visiting this hotel in the future.

parking a little pricey. However, service was excellent.

    1Donna LPosted on: 9-16-2023

Room was not available at check in time. Reserved a regular room and were given a handicap room. Bedding smelled like urine. Only compensation offered was $6.00 off valet parking

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-10-2023

Very nice and quiet for a hotel downtown

Valet parking charge. At check-in when I inquired if I had to pay double because of my daughter driving separately the girl specifically stated that the charge was per room...not per car. At checkout I was told that wasn't so and was charged double.

    10JeanniePosted on: 8-30-2023

Malika Jeanty and her husband, the bartenders! They were fantastic!

There were times the elevators were extremely slow but seemed like it was when the housekeepers were using them. Parking at the hotel could be less expensive as well.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-17-2023

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds

Rooftop pool area could use additional seating, including some that could be dried off for use after a heavy rain. We couldn't dry off the chairs and sit down because they had non-removable cushions. Comfy beds in rooms, but sheets were pretty scratchy.

    6SeanPosted on: 7-25-2023

    Location was convenient.

I was charged for snacks/sundries that I didn't purchase (noticed the extra charge on my bill). The front desk staff said they couldn't remove the charge. Still haven't been contacted by the manager.

    10AmiPosted on: 6-24-2023

Everything. It was updated and clean.

Not really. Just know there is a parking garage right across the street if you don't want to valet. I paid $12 to park overnight.
