Comfort Inn Savannah Midtown

The size of the room and the helpfulness of most of the staff.

When I first came in to register, the man behind the desk was very gruff. I don't expect to be greeted by the hotel like that.

The foreign man at the desk said that linens for the sofa bed were “not part of the deal”, only to find out they had the bed part of the sofa screwed down so you can’t pull it out. Mold all over the bathrooms, and the pool water had a very oily feeling.

The location and the old charm of the Oglethorpe Inn (what it used to be).

The floor by the window was wet (it had rained) and there appeared to be a spot of blood on the sheer curtain. There were spots in the bathroom that were patched but not finished as far as painting.

Our King room was bigger than expected and the breakfast was very good!

The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. Breakfast was amazing

I did not like the fact that I could not connect to the wifi

The elevator didn’t work and the drink machine didn’t have any water left. Btw, Savannah tap water has a weird taste. Which is probably why the machine ran out of bottled water.

Nice location and the price was awesome for the size and convenience of the rooms.

It was a little outdated and worn but was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed was comfortable; nice sheets. Elevator has out of order and has been for months. They won’t get a high rating if they don’t repair. Breakfast was mediocre.

The beds are comfortable in a spacious room. Nice spacious vanity sink outside the bathroom.

The coach and chair were stained due to family rentals. They need to get wipe down sleeper sofas.

Location was perfect for shopping and eating. Easily walk to places as such.

As soon as you walk into the lobby all we could smell was marinara. The whole stay our room was filled with the smell. When we were leaving, our vehicle smelled of it because the smell was all in our clothes. The drink vending machine gave out expired drinks. We were on the second floor and the elevator was broken all weekend. The floor directly below us were having a huge loud party- fine. However when it gets to be 1 in the morning, that’s a bit too much. We spoke with someone about it. They told us being it was only girls in the room, he wasn’t worried about it. Was NOT a pleasant stay.

Location

I had to walk up 3 set of stairs, my room was not up to par, my floor and couch was dirty. My fridge was very small, and my pillows were not adequate but okay. Not enough space for parking.

I like the fact that there were different shopping, places and restaurants directly across the street from my hotel location..

Honestly, I didn’t like the fact that the elevator was down

Conveniently located

Too many issues to list. Took 5 minutes to get hot water, the breakfast buffet was cold. Our room was not thoroughly cleaned, the refrigerator did not work properly and had to ask the staff on 2 separate occasions to get it fixed.Front desk staff did not look up from his phone...

Better communication.I was not informed about the elevator being broken.My wife have a disability and my room was on the third floor.The attendant was not polite when I asked for the manager.

Bad

The room we were given, number 211, was incredibly dirty, with hair all over the bathroom, and I think there was something that kept us from sleeping because our bodies were itching. As soon as it was light, we left. We had requested adjoining rooms, but they didn't give them to us.

Charge my card for the before I got there when I supposed to pay when arrived. Also the elevator been down for several months without being fixed.
