- We arrived at the free hotel parking, received a super friendly welcome from Scarlet, we felt right at home. The room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The location is ideal and everything is within walking distance.
- Large rooms and bathrooms, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast included and free park in their parking lot.
- Room noisy near front desk. Carpet needs to be replaced. Noisy outside windows near sidewalk. Great breakfast! Great coutyard!Good staff! Wine at 5:3o....Allow dogs for 50 dollars! We like being near Savannah live shows . Safe location.
Cons -
- I would advise not to book a room on the ground floor (which we had 102/103) because there?s noise from the street and the reception area.
- 50 dollars seems steep for a dog. Carpet needs to be replaced...Front desk needs to remember rooms near by can hear.
- We would stay there again on our next trip to Savannah.

Great location and a wonderful staff. The complimentary breakfast each morning was great.
We would stay there again on our next trip to Savannah.
Ours was a nice large room with plenty of windows. Towels were plentiful. The staff was wonderful. The free parking and patio where we had breakfast was nice.
There were not many breakfast options and the TV was small for the size of the room.
We loved breakfast in the beautiful courtyard!
The noise level in our room wasnâ≢t ideal. If you are a light sleeper, I wouldnâ≢t select this room.
Parking is included. The location is great. They do include a fresh morning breakfast with a rotating menu. We are eating low carb. They offered to make us eggs, bacon and yogurt! Exactly what we wanted. Wow! We really appreciated this!
Well, the lush greenery seems to cover the hotel signs. It was a bit confusing to find it. They do provide good driving directions on the reservation.
Location is superb 5 out of 5 stars The breakfast was 4 out of 5 stars The room was 4 out of 5 stars for size and comfort of bed Upgraded my family to George Washington Room because I was coming
Called 4 hrs after checkout we are being billed a $150 environmental fee for paper airplanes behind hutch, fridge open, damp floors and stain. I wish I can write more. PLEASE TAKE A COPY OF SIGNED PAPERS ON CHECKIN. HIDDEN AGREEMENT! BUYERS BEWARE!!!
The location and historic charm.

Great hotel. Everything perfect
The location was excellent. The staff made you feel like you were part of the family. Scarlet, Kara, Gracen and Brandon were great and gave good advice on what to do in Savannah. There is a small courtyard that was very peaceful and relaxing to sit out side.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient and walkable. I thoroughly enjoyed the garden patio for breakfast, etc. Very charming! The convenience of on site parking was a welcome addition.
My only complaint was the extremely soft mattress.
The breakfast was comparable to alower budget brand. The had the expected small Danish's pastries with fruit jelly in middle, bagels also with scrambled eggs, sausage, overcooked bacon. Maybe the breakfast in the title should be amended, the picture be more representative of what you receive.
The good - Historical feel, nice quartyard, exceptionally nice and personable receptionists. Wine in the afternoon, Proximity to everything. Great courtyard. Allows pets. Spcious rooms. Well-appointed bathroom. The cons - single pane windows (three in our first floor room) let all the noise in. You hear everything. There were no blackout drapes, only shutters. You could hear all the noise from people coming in and out entrance, reception, breakfast area of the hotel. The room door did not seal with light entering from three sides. SAFETY We wish the room had safes and card keys. The rooms are accessed using easily replicated house keys. We ended up missing $300+ in cash, a very expensive medical device that looks similar to a iphone and a small vile of pills (that was hidden in a small fabric packet) - all that we would have placed in a room safe. We called about the missing vile and noticed the medical device and cash an hour later. Since they denied finding the pills, we figured they would not find our "other " things. The new hotel owners are going to close the hotel for 2 years shortly after our stay. They will cannibalize a small parking lot to build an 50 additional rooms. This large building will loom over the courtyard, it will lose most of its privatenes, light and serenity. Hopefully, they will rectify the peeling paint and delayed maintenance that was noticeable during our stay. Mattresses, bed springs, windows etc., bed linens need to be replaced.
Everything, but especially the wonderful staff, Gracen, Kara, Scarlett and Brandon, who were so warm and welcoming and helpful. And kudos to the chefs, Kandra & Hilda for the delicious breakfasts. And of course loved their “Manager Meowy”. Wish all of you all the best in the future.
Fantastic size room, amazing breakfast and lovely, friendly, helpful staff.
We’ve stayed here twice before and loved it. Must be under new management. Not as warm and friendly as previously. The outside doesn’t look as unkept. We always come for the fancy wonderful breakfasts, that is no longer. Biggest disappointment.
