Best Western Plus Savannah Gateway

Breakfast is great, and the staff working breakfast are all super attentive and kind. Lots of families with kids staying, and yet hotel was quite in the room. Air conditioning worked way better than expected for the super hot temps over the weekend.

3rd floor smelled like cigarettes, which was very unpleasant and seems to be a recent problem. And a minor inconvenience, but only 2 large towels in bathroom.

Cleanliness is the most important aspect of a hotel. This hotel was very clean. Dust on some objects should be wiped more often, but outside of that fully clean including beds and bathroom.

Construction materials everywhere, but nobody working. Lots of bugs. Staff was rude and no amenities. Room was large but dirty. The shower was inside an old jetted tub so some may have a hard time getting into the shower. AC not working well.

The staff was nice.

The bathroom was dirty, and there was mold on the air conditioning unit. The freezer was covered with thick ice, so I couldn¿t put anything in it. They are currently remodeling, so there is stuff everywhere downstairs.

Big room on first floor.

Opened the bedside table drawer and there were food wrappers and even some chicken bones in a zip lock bag. No bath mat and floor was very slippery when wet. they are currently remodeling and I expect it to take 9 months or so.

Rooms was dirty and they were short staffed. Kept switching rooms due to rooms was dirty. Older hotel

Very bad experience. no wifi, no TV, no breakfast. staff is not on duty all the time.

It had an indoor pool

We were promised adjoining rooms that we DID NOT GET! We had 2 adults and 4 young kids the adjoining rooms were a must. No compensation offered. The lights did not work the phone did not work the heater did not work. Only 3 towels for 6 people.

Nothing what so ever

Everything. Room was dirty, stains on all of the towels, bedding and couch. I had to literally go get the cleaner from the staff member to clean the room myself.

Two separate rooms

Filthy! Moth holes in the drapes. Mold on the inside of the cabinets, on the outside of the bathtub, all over the light above the sink & the soap holder. Only half of the jets in the whirlpool tub worked. 8 channels on tiny tv in the bedroom. Do not stay!

Close to 75

Very old..worn and outdated room. Not very clean.. Hotel double charged me also.

One of the employees at the front desk was very nice.

The room was disgusting and sticky. The coffee maker hadn't been cleaned in months by the look of it.

Near i95

Could not have 2queen beds. One person on duty. Had to wait 15-20 minutes to check in. Old and not updated. Pool open but scummy. Not told there would be no breakfast service

It was roomy

Pool broken in the summer. No breakfast. They wouldn’t even make coffee downstairs. Lobby person mostly had a sign up that she will be back. No blanket on my bed. Room phone didn’t work. All and all I felt unsafe and uncared for.

There was food left inside the fridge from the previous guest. Must have been left there for sometime already. Disgusting!!

Staff very friendly

Old furniture in room. Couch makes a farting sound when sitting down. Breakfast - Hard biscuits and over cooked sausage and wstrty orange juice. Jacuzzi did not work in room.

Spacious room

Blood on couch. In the first floor but the curtains did not close. Closet door broken. Only one ice machine worked in entire hotel. Desk attendant was rude

The service was great I will come back the rooms were large and clean the breakfast was nice

Location

Dirty bedding, shabby furniture, leaky shower. Choice hotels corp., has at least offered us points towards a free night.

The staff were awesome. Everyone was very helpful and when asked to get something during breakfast they actually did it cheerfully! Everyone seemed to really like their job. Loved the suite layout vs just a room.

Very minor: ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken.
