    Pros +

    • I enjoyed being able to see my car in the parking garage behind the place. Also I enjoyed interacting with the haunts in there.
    • Wine and cheese receptions, the breakfast, the historical aspect of the hotel
    • Location, history and staff

    Cons -

    • It?s LOUD. you literally hear everything. Every footstep. Every conversation. Every siren outside. The door doesn?t go all the way to the floor letting light in. Luckily the bed wasn?t in view of the door so not too bad.
    • Bed a little hard and the walls thin
    • It?s just an old building but its history explains that the bathroom are ancient and should be updated especially for older people

Great service and hospitality from everyone but expecially Dana . I stayed 2 nights. Room 218 and 413 both rooms where clean and very nice....if your looking for paranormal activity, both rooms had my rim pod going off like crazy and my k2 meter and Kat

Loved the decor and style. Staff was more than helpful to accommodate us in every way

We love the history and location of Marshall House. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Its not the most economical place to stay but is one of the best B&B in Savannah. Its within walking distance of River St. which works fo

Offering coffee in the room would be great.

I like the location. The fact that it was historic, and came with a story narrated in the afternoon with a glass of wine and tapas. The personal was charming. It was a very good experience.

    Very clean great staff

Could of offered the wine and cheese Fri too

    8MarkPosted on: 7-19-2016

Staff was excellent…everyone was polite and attentive. Location was great…nearby everything. The room was well-appointed and felt “authentic” without feeling run-down. Both the room and bathroom were very clean.

The only negative, a very minor one, was the ceiling/floor seemed to readily transfer the sounds of the guests above (as noted also in a couple other reviews).

The character of the hotel itself and the location to the many activities downtown Savannah has to offer.

Upon check in I wasn't greeted or even said hello to until I took it upon myself to say hello. Neither of the two ladies smiled or made it seem they cared at all about my presence.

The staff was delightful and helpful. The hotel was very charming. Location was perfect.

    10MikePosted on: 7-22-2015

Well organized, staff takes care of everything, lots of small things included for the price

    10FreidaPosted on: 7-13-2015

Wonderful historical hotel, staff, and location. We actually loved our stay at the Marshall house so much we purchased art work of the hotel to remember our stay and great time we had.

    10ScherryPosted on: 3-7-2015

Quaint old world charm, wonderful service where the help is friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast , especially the homemade quiche, was great too !

I wish it were a bit less expensive because with parking and taxes the bill was a little high.

The floors are slanted, kinda feels like you?re in a fun house. I realize the hotel is old so it kinda goes with the territory.
